I loved BASE! I booked a 6 night stay/surf camp with them and ended up coming back 2 more times throughout my trip. The surf camp was great. 1 local guide and 1 American and they are both friendly, knowledgable and respectful. They are always in the water with you and give you great tips and guidance. The hostel itself is sooo clean, quiet and brand spanking new. The wifi is amazing and works everywhere, the dorms have huge beds with curtains, private plug-ins, towels and amazing A/C. The staff make the beds and clean the rooms every day and there is a kitchen for guests to use. There is great pool and rooftop for sunsets! The main party scene and shopping is about 15 mins walk but you can rent cheap scooters or use the free town bikes anytime. The staff are a little tricky to communicate with but they are such lovely people! John who works there is amazing and will help you with anything if you ask. I contacted him on whatsapp several times and he helped me out. :) Loved my 3 stays at BASE. Thanks for a great time and I hope to see you again soon.
