Fantastic
1 reviewIbu Ina, how are you? :) I wasn't ever going to write a review on this place because I don't want anyone to ever know this charming little place! I fell in love with her villa on a whim. We were passing by and just looking for the right place. Saw this villa and I know this would going to be the place to stay every time I'm in Bali! If you don't like quaint, quiet place with very minimal electricity, no AC, no TV, stay out of this place (please). I love this villa for its perfect spot atop of Balangan Bukit, overlooking the ocean. There were only two villas (three actually, but the third one wasn't for rent). The villa is eco-friendly featured, with no apparent sense of windows and door. Yet the privacy is totally insured with few rattan drapes that can be pulled up and down. No AC, but the beach weather is windy and very cool. Beds are overwhelmingly lovely, with drapes all over. Bathroom is too nice! Very large and they have eco-friendly bamboo shower. The room sets perfectly with terrace for sitting down and breakfast table. Ibu Ina will bring the breakfast herself, chatting up with you as if you're old friend - breakfast was superb, btw (continental with a touch of home cooking, with a lot of fruit slices, juices and Bali coffee). At night this place sets the difference, minimal lights, a lot of nature creature. Yes it is VERY noisy with ocean waves and sounds of gecko! (Oh and Pochi - Ibu Ina's dogs, too). Sunset is always unbelievable. Even if you're in the wrong season, you still have that achingly beautiful sunset tones in the sky, while sitting on the gazebo, immersing in your own thoughts, overlooking the golden ocean below. You look to your right and you'll see very well manicured garden with beautiful flowers. From afar, planes are taking off, sending stories from Bali up and away.
