50 reviewsThe hotel is located in a very strategic location, there is a popular place to eat Noodle Bar Tjemara which is delicious and cheap right in front of the hotel. Coffee shop, bars, laundry, convenient stores, barbershop, 35mm film lab just nearby Metro Hotel. The hotel building is quite old, with Javanese classic interior lobby and common room. My room on the first floor is quite clean, only there is no blanket and the pillows are hard, the fan works and is cool but needs to be cleaned. The private bathroom in the room is very clean. Towel and soap available, must bring our own toothpaste and tooth brush. Each room has terrace. Parking area pretty big. Free WiFi connection is good for work or watching movies. The price is very cheap, suitable for backpackers or budget travelers compared with another accomodations in the same area with the same budget (I found some places even more expensive). Don't expect 4 stars facility, for 90k Rupiah you get queen bed private room, just perfect for me. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for those looking for cheap lodging, but don't wanna stay in bunk beds hostel or sharing rooms/bathroom with other travelers.
