Sawah Joglo

Was quite shocked with the service I received upon coming to Sawah Joglo on a travel trip with a couple of my university friends. Everyone was equally surprised as it was located somewhere in the midst of rice fields — something you don’t really see in Jogja anymore. The morning views were the best because you could see the Merapi Mountain (yes, the active mountain) in all it’s glory basking a full-fledged figure waiting to be ticked off. We actually got food at the restaurant at the villa as well and we were surprised at how juicy the pork rivs were! A must recommend for travellers who wanna wind down at night and just crack open a beer because oh boy the beer definitely complemented the ribs. We ordered the poka sauce baby back ribs and were sent straight to tropical nirvana with the flavors in our mouth. Coming back to the topic of the villa, we’d say it was a relatively cheap villa for the amenities we were provided. I would certainly come again!!
