Itz a nice place I like it and also free WiFi,hot water,quite and nice place to stay  .itz very near to the beach just 50meter away from the beach and also very near to the helipad(cliff).budject rooms and also Ac ,non Ac rooms are available in this hotel.really I like this hotel  very simple and quite.

If you want budget room which has good location you can choose this hotel

1. Bed sheet and pillow cover bit dirty with yellow stain. Better bring ur extra sheet
2. I found ants and other insects in bed. Better bring bug spray
3. Hot water not come, better asked 1st
4. Bed was old bed, too much making sound if we move
5. Only 1 plug available. Better bring ur extension wire.

But anyhow, for sure wanna come back again here if visited Varkala


Palm Ayurvedic Beach Resort has a nice spacious room and bathroom with enjoyable balcony for reading or relaxing  and is a place where one can fall asleep with the sea sound around.  It is for sure neat and clean for indian standards. It is located outside the agitated cliff but from a walkable distance from it, between the north and south cliff, close to the beach and it is cheaper than the websites usually charge. I was there 2 times and got budget prices both times, 300 rupees during low season and 450 in the start of high season. It is a budget hotel and it goes with the price you pay, it is a good deal though.
We had a weak wifi in the first day of staying but after approaching the staff about the problem we got a better strong connection (they had moved the router for us). Staff is extremely nice and helpful, no complaints, it is one of the best we have met in India though again has just males members as workers. I would feel more safe staying at a hotel where women would be part of the staff too especially if they are located at more isolated places.
They still have to work out the maintenance of the garden better, it could be a much more pleasant place if the garden were better taken care of and some waste removed from some back places as well as the workers area a more isolated place from the rooms (it is too close and it can be very busy sometimes) and a place kept more neat and organised. It has a huge potential for being one of the best hotel around Varkala cliff in the future.

Nice place near the beach

Good deal: budget room, great staff with a huge potential of growth

It is a good stay for some short time. But there were power cuts many times a day. wifi was very weak. The location is very good - it is very near the beach and the room was quite clean - acceptably clean.

 experience was quite not comfortable . The hotel owner is a good person but the hotel won't suit for family . We can see many culture less drunken neighbors in the hotel at night making loud noice . We cannot accept the torturing done by the neighbors. They were so torturing . although the room was fine we cannot experience a clam and peaceful atmosphere there ...drunken  neighbors come and disturbs as all the night. Not very good atmosphere for family
