My wife and I are travelling India via motorcycle from Australia and have enjoyed our stay on house boat Holiday Home better than any other place. It is run by the nicest family who strive to help you as much as possible. They are happy to row you back and forth to ghat 4 from their boat for free when ever you need supplies etc. The boat is especially quiet, cosy and homely, the beds are comfy and lots of warm cosy blankets and its kept very clean. I can't say enough positive things as we loved our stay of 4 nights. They can also cook for you if required but the boat is so well positioned, next to food stalls, markets etc. Once you get to Srinigar go to ghat 4 and you will soon find it. Enjoy your stay on a wonderful boat owned by a lovely family. Thanks Mohammed.
