Hotel Anjali Dlx

Being pure vegetarians we were finding it difficult to find a vegetarian hotel within 2-3 kms radius of our hotel (where we were staying). Finally, we decided to take a walk to the main market area of the Kalimpong town and oh la, we were stunned to see a bill board that said "Pure Vegetarian Restaurant". This restaurant also has an ice cream shop attached to it. The restaurant is located very close to the famous Mangal Dham sanctuary. The food in Anjali was excellent and the service was good too. It is a small restaurant but the quality of the food and service was very refreshing. The young girl who was at the hotel desk managing went out of her to help us. She told us about the finer points of Kalimpong and what important tourist sites that we could visit. We plan to recommend this restaurant to all our vegetarian friends. We were also told by the girl who was managing the restaurant that it also has lodging facilities!! However, we did not need the lodging as we were already lodged in another hotel a little out of town. But we will surely return/recommend this hotel for its pure and quality vegetarian food!!!
