“it is far away from the crowd of Shillong.. nice & decent place near Golf Course.. very big & specious room , common place . Hospitality also is very good. The boy named Amrit Dev Burman is very good. always with a smile . (y) the only thing i don't like the Bed of Rot Iron. it should better.”

Located in a quiet atmosphere very near to golf glade in Shillong. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with basic amenities. Attached bathrooms are also spacious. Everything well maintained and staff are well behaved and helpful. They have a parking lot which can accommodate 4 vehicles. But the inn has no restaurant. They supply food from outside restaurants. Chinese and indian food can be arranged. Tariff is not high and rooms are really better than some famous hotels of Shilling. Recommended for family visitors. 

This is a homestay and good as a homestay only. Limited food options and timing is very important if you choose homestays. Overall good as a homestay only, don't expect hotel like facilities. Nice view from first floor common hall.
On first floor they have 3 rooms with one common hall and it's good. We went in a group with 3 rooms booked and really enjoyed our stay there.

This guesthouse is located near Golf Link which in itself is know for its serenity. What mostly attracted me of this inn was its infrastructure. Nicely decorated and cleanly kept. Although some of the plug points were not working. 

Food was okay. Not the best.
Overall a good stay.

Good quiet stay in Shillong

Nice location

Stayed in Tranquil Inn from 24th November to 26th November 2016. It is a beautiful place, cosy with a homely ambience. we stayed on the ground floor and made maximum use of the lounge.The washrooms were clean and spacious . However, there are certain limitations which need serious consideration. Drinking water and  glass is a must. For double occupancy, two towels would be better.Because the kitchen does not start functioning before 7.30 am providing  an electric kettle and tea bags, sugar sachets should be considered. Food is great. 
If you are thinking of knocking at tranquil Inn for your Shillong stopover, always insist for the  rooms on the upper floor. Ground floor rooms have no view. 
Car parking is a problem.
