55 reviewsI recently visited Ganapatipule and we stayed at BeachFront Villas. The property is amazing, we got ourselves the two bedroom bunglow (ask for this and go for it - abit costly but experience, you will have is amazing!!!) and it was amazing, both in terms of view, privacy, food. We stayed here for 4 days and we only left longing for more....The Malgund beach is right in-front, with private entrance across the road provided to beach from their property. Evening sunset enjoy from your villa or the beach the view is mesmerizing . Breakfast is complimentary - however you can order few dishes ala-carte. Drive to Ganapatipule Mandir is 2.5~3 kms, Kokan Darshan Museum, Magic Vortex, Aquarium, Wax Museum are at driving distance of 3~5 kms ( you practically reach in 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic!) . Only other place we visited was Jaigad - wanted to do more but with kids interested more in beach and water-sports where-else do you want to go. Yes, they make Modaks and Sol-kadhi - do ask for it. However for modaks they do need to be reminded. After checking few places, we zeroed in to buy mangoes from Mr. Ulhas Anant Muley (+919403264047), they are whole-sale dealers and do export a large quantity of these. The quality and taste of the natural hapus is awesome. - driving distance is 15 minutes from property. We started our journey from Pune we took route from Karad via Amba Ghat. The journey and road was simply great, large parts of the road have been recently tarred, so ride was smooth. On return journey, I must mention for lunch after crossing Amba-ghat just a few kms, immediately on your left you will see Riverside county (currently managed by Kyriad prestige), when travelling with family and looking for an extremely decent lunch/dinner place - nothing beats it. Its a nice resort, if one wants to stay feel do check it out. You can check this property out on Google Maps as well. Our trip started on high note, Beach Front Villas (staff, food and view!!) took this to very next level and to end the trip with Riverside County the experience was just amazing.
