13 reviewsWe had a really nice stay at the Antonio’s Residency. The apartment was spacious and clean, with everything we needed, there was a living room with a kitchen annex, where you have a fridge, some cups and kettle, separate bedroom with a big wardrobe, clean modern bathroom with hot water and two balconies with trees behind. The place was safe, with good locks. There is a shop open every day just opposite the building, where you can find everything you need. The building is in quiet area just 5 min walk to the beach, where you can find some restaurants and cafes, and sunbeds with umbrellas (free when you order sth to drink). The area is nice and peaceful, very green, with beautiful colourful postcolonial villas. There is a bus stop in the area, it is also not far to the train station. Wi-fi was working well. Antonio and his wife were very nice and helpful, Antonio has a comfortable air-conditioned car and offers pick up whenever you need, he picked us up to the airport and to Panjim in good price. He also offers bigger tours if you need a private tour to some tourist attractions in the area. We also tried the breakfast that you can order to your room, what is convenient when you want to leave early to visit some places (the price was similar to nearest restaurants and the food was good). Antonio’s wife went with us to see carnival parade in Margao and it was very helpful, we felt much more comfy and safe, and she is a super nice lady. They both speak good English and are easy to communicate with. Antonio is a businessman, so if you order more services with him you can negotiate the prices, what is a great attitude. There is nothing bad I can say about our time in this place, so I really recommend it, it was great value for the price we paid.
