Noah's Ark Inn

Friendly staff, good for a chat. Will tell you where to eat and what to do. Wifi is good in the lobby. 
Great location, just out of the Main Street. Good for the price. Cable TV was a treat. Go up around the 200s for the English channels. 

Rooms were very damp. They need fly screens on the windows and to open the place up a bit.

Sheets were stained, but for $10 a night who cares (well I did my husband didn't).

I stayed in this hotel in my last trip to Munnar and it was nice budget homestay. 10 minutes walk from busy main town square. I liked the place and the staff was good. You can suggest this place for people with short stay and decent budget. Nice eating place are nearby :)

Nice Budget Hotel in Munnar

Munnar is a very beautiful natural place with beautiful mountains. I choose this hotel after searching lot of reviews. Ambiance Services was average. Blankets was very bad. Toilet was clean. My stay was of 1 night so I managed.

Simple and Average Hotel

First of all do not expect a grand entrance for the place.The entrance looks like an entrance to an ordinary shop.If we move past that,you are welcomed with an unclean room with stains all over the place.I wonder when the last maintenance took place. There is hot water available ,but unfortunately my friends were not able to enjoy this luxury even though I was able to(probably due to some timing issues). The only positive side to look for is the cost of the room, which is around 800 Rs.
FYI: Wi-fi is included,but had some issue connecting and went with mobile data.

Better stay away from the place unless you are budget constrained(like us :) ).

Budget stay with poor room conditions(Best to look elsewhere)

I stayed at Noah's Ark Inn for a night during my trip to Munnar in October 2017.

I can state that it was easily one of the poorest experiences I've had in a hotel. The rooms had no ventilation and hence a musty smell. The locks of the rooms and the bathrooms were not functioning (imagine having to sing so that no one enters the loo by mistake when you're inside:-P). The fittings in the bathroom was so poor that water was leaking continuously. The hotel is a pure lodging and does not even serve tea/ coffee.
This place charges a bomb compared to other hotels in the vicinity, especially taking into account the poor facilities.

While this hotel is not located outside the city, it was not exactly close to city center either.
