Arma Hotel

This is pretty much the cleanest little space I have stayed in India, and it was in a dorm room! I was a little hesitant at first booking a dorm room in Mumbai, but I could'nt have got anything else, based on what I was wiling to pay for Mumbai, let alone Bandra. I stayed in the 10 bed mixed dorm, which is split into modern capsule like spaces, with their own light, hooks, electrical socket, personal items locker, separate bag draw, and curtain. A/C non stop was perfectly cool and the outside area was good for meeting other travelers and sharing advice, at night. The hostel is situated in a more local area, but is about a 5 min drive away from Bandra west. The staff are also super helpful! They Accommodated my midnight check in after I spent ages in the airport on the e-visa lines. They also helped me book my onward ticket when I was having trouble with the websites, that would not allow me to book tickets with a non-Indian debit & credit card, and non-Indian phone number. I literally would have been stuck without them. Having free wifi and water at the hostel was a bonus! Also I did a Dhavari slum tour and this hostel was great as it was a 100 ruppee taxi to the meeting point. Really recommend doing that too! The expectations for the rest of my trip have been set pretty high now- Thanks for everything- I will be back!!
