After reading some reviews we think that whatever they said is the truth but the truth is something else. 
I recently came home from Manali, the management at the hotel was very friendly and the hospitality I got was the best. The rooms were clean and considerate. 

We booked 2 deluxe rooms and they were the same as shown in the pictures and as promised. The people over there were very very nice. Mr Deepak is a very humble man who considers the guest as good. Very young he is a man of words. 

There can be misunderstandings but defaming someone on these grounds is not good.@ Shipra Walter

Do book this hotel for the best experience

It's my memorable place in manali , Hotel is just 3 min walking distance from main road ....All necessary market is near by ....No security issue regarding this place ....I am very comfortable with this hotel with my family and friends....
Hotels location is toooooo Good , staff is toooooo Good... Food quality is Awesome ,even my my small kid's also remember that quality.... Hotel service is very very good ....And most important person ,the owner Mr Samrit Paul is a gem of person and highly co-operative ...and most important is rate is budgetable .....
I recommend 20 + family to this hotel and every family thanks to me for greatest choice....

Generally i am not the person who writes review.
i had done booking on cleartrip and i booked "sunflower hotel". i contacted mr Samrit Paul the owner as i wanted to know about the facilities and weather conditions.He was very polite and answered all my queries with patience.One day before whilst i was supposed to leave for manali there was news about bad weather conditions and roads being blocked.i contacted mr Samrit Paul he was very understanding and offered to change dates without any costs and also offered me full refund even though within 24 hours the booking is non refundable.I will recommend everyone to go ahead and book this hotel.

The best place in manali

Sunflower hotel

The only thing great in this hotel, is its location. Close to downtown Manali, its located at a narrow alley near Tibetan Monastery. Bengali travellers might prefer this hotel as the owner himself is a Bengali, and Bengali travellers with Budget constraint throng here.

Cheap but not the best

Samrit Paul is a scammer.
He claimed as a ower of the group. But in a single word he is a scammer. He arranged our shimla manali tour. But he did not pay full amount to hotels. We have to pay the remaining amount to each and every hotels. He totally switched off his phone. Even he did not pay the car driver. At last we have to call police and they arranged another car to reach airport.

I booked a family suite for 07 people from 23rd dec to 26th dec on 19th dec, the hotel accepted our booking and gave us the booking confirmation below is the slip.

However on 21st dec night 8pm i received a message from hotel that due to there error they have already sold family suite to someone else and will be providing us with 2 standard rooms. On questioning them Mr Deepak was very rigid, rude and not willing to understand. I will be traveling with kids and not possible to make it in 2 rooms. He was offering us 2 standard rooms at the same cost of the Suite, which was not acceptable. As suite is high price and standard rooms should be lower, But Mr Deepak was deaf ear to our logics and plea he immediately returned our Booking deposit and asked to book somewhere else.

We understand its peak time, but instead of compensating us with there error, they were rude told us that they will be charging us the rate of standard rooms as on 22 dec which is Rs 4000 per night, for 3 NTS it will be Rs 12000 . As we are running on budget constraints, we request them to consider. Instead he switched off the phone and asked to book somewhere else, leaving us in lurge, with last minute no hotel booking and a day before travel travelling with kids below 10 yrs age.

Being a hospitality professional, we do understand the pressure of season bookings but have never heard that passengers has been left in n lurge in this heavy season. 

I would personally request everyone not to book this hotel. They are sick and don't know how to handle the guest in crisis situation. 

Please don't book this hotel.

Worst hotel setting new standards of hospitality

We had booked villa in manali fro oyo, that got cancelled so we booked this one instead which wasn't our first choice.
After entering this we gotthese dull vibe.
The washrooms were not clean and like the way they showed in the oyo ads.
Not that clean.
The worst experience, the window was broken completely and someone could have gotten hurt easily and the staff said they had no idea about it.

Our room had the view og slum roof.
Sad day in manali.

Samrit paul is a layer,chitingbaz.no one will believe him.when necessary ,he keeps the ph switch off.he has dill evry hotel..I suggest no one contact samrit paul.. very wrost experience..we have to pay the remaining amount to each and every hotel.he totally switched off his phone..

Samrit Paul is a scamster. He'll promise you heaven while booking but put you in a substandard car and some lowest quality hotel. Our honeymoon trip was completely ruined because of him. Stay away like plague. Avoid this hotel since he claims it's his hotel.

Worst hotel ever i stay in Manali.Owner is not faithful.i have booked hotel sunflower online but when i visit he forced to stay an other under construction hetel..secondly the foods Quality is not good and expensive too.so dear please think twice before you go to book the hotel Sunflower Manali.
