Taka Residency

Rooms are good, neat and clean. We were four family members admitted in 2 rooms on the 2nd floor with a private sit out terrace, which has an excellent mountaneous view with scenic beauty. Hotel Taka staffs were cooking and serving the meals of our choice. The hotel Manager Mr. Rinchen was of great help,his humanitarian gesture was extremely marvelous.I couldn't transfer tour package money for not having post paid mobile phone.He,infact arranged our Ladak tour, arranged all the permits and transport arrangements and guide without collecting amount. Even he was ready offer money for our local purchase.Hats off to his gesture.I could arrnge the tour package money after three days of the tour.The cost is quite reasonable. The tour of sandune lake was a scenic beauty,had a ride with double hump 🐫 camel,so awesome.Visit to Pongong lake took us to beyond imagination.We were to witness colourful salty lake.The sceneries were very beautiful,played with crystal clear water. Visit to Kargil was a travel beauty.Experience at Magnetic hill was wondering.Drass war memorial brought us back the memory of Kargil war,we could see the letters written by our brave soldiers to their loved ones during war, brought tears from our eyes.Last and finally we visited LOC at kargil,Mr Mehaboob,a lacal guide who took us from Kargil town to Hunderman huts a village of 35 family,with native life style, narrated the struggle for fire woods,to be stored for winter season,tasted thei native food and namkin tea was unforgettable.
