Normal unclean type room. Extorted additional money from us during checkout. The person who gives rooms on behalf of hotel runs small shop outside, he is most impolite person ever seen. If you don't want to get scammed during checkout... better beware 

Not recommended 

The hot water (with boiler...) The location - even if the view does not dive directly into the monuments we are more or less calm. Since the city is not really big, we are in the center in 3 minutes walk. The reception and cleanliness are for me representative of the price paid. Only the reception of 4G data is vacant (but if I believe that it is at the city/bourgeois level) and the wifi nest, it seems to me, is not available (to confirm).

Good quality to price ratio

The hotel us run by a family who are willing to do anything to help you feel comfortable and welcome! For example, it was the son's birthday when we arrived late at night and they cut and offered us birthday cake!

The hotel's location is also perfect! Walking distance to the temples and the fort. We highly recommend! 

Fantastic Hotel! 

Hotel Sunrise is just okay, nothing great. I have stayed in much better hotels for this price. It is located near main temples as Orchha is a small town. Better to spend a little more and get a good hotel. 
They don't have a restaurant. Breakfast was included in my room booking but they gave just a plate of Poha for that. They arrange food from outside which was costly.
Staff is ok but hotel is not worth. If u go there keep your expectations low.

Not a good experience

This is a budget hotel with some shortcomings. But the location of the hotel and the behaviour of the staff just makes it a good place to stay.We stayed here for a night in March 2017 and will give full marks to the hotel staff. I will love to stay here again..

Nice hotel with very nice people

I stayed at this hotel for about a month. And I changed rooms three times to accommodate groups. The rooms are basic but clean, furnished with clean towels and sheets. Very nice and helpful staff. Very nice hotel with a large terrace, a little out of the way, located 2 minutes' walk from the beautiful river and 5 minutes from the center.

Very helpful staff

We arrived in the evening in orchha and were absolutely out of money because of the current money situation. We didn't even ask for a discount or anything, were just talking about the currency problem and the owner invited us for a free night, wow... what can I say? That's more then amazing. I'm super grateful and happy that there are still such amazing people in this world. Couldn't find words! 
The room he offered us was huge, big bed and warm shower. Could be a little bit cleaner but for 2-3 nights more then enough!  


Stuff- wow! Rooms- ok! 

We stayed at this hotel on a long trip around India. I can't say anything bad about the hotel, it's good for India. The room is clean enough, standard tea and coffee accessories, toiletries and an unchanging bottle of drinking water.

It's good to spend the night.

Located at walking distance from Ram Raja Mandir, Raja Mahal and Jahangir Mahal the facilities are simple: the room is small and our A/C was not working (but we did not really needed it), but clean and the staff was very friendly.

great location, simple services

Very friendly staff, although upon arrival they seemed a bit dry, helped us with the rest of the trip. The location is very nice, a few meters from the center. They have a hot shower. The room is cold, we sleep frozen. My way of looking at the high price for what the room is, has no relation to the quality of the price. The mattress did not exist.. It was like sleeping on the floor. In the reserve there was breakfast included, but when we asked for it we were told no... Regular hygiene.
