This is a great option for travelers who are looking for a budget option. I'll list out the pros & cons as following. Pros- 1. Excellent service by hotel staff. They are available on a single call may it be anything. Very hospitable. 2. The attitude of hotel owner (Mr Fayaz) is also very good. He generally walks around the corridors & keeps an Eye on everything. 3. Rooms are really good. They contains all the basic amenities like a clean bed, neat blankets & sheets, hot water 24*7, silent rooms, table-chair, TV with tata sky, toilet slippers, mattress flooring, almirah (cupboard) & a dressing table also. 4. Hotel is located in the tourist area of Rajbagh near Zero bridge which is very well connected to all the tourist destinations. Dal lake is only a 15 mins walk or 50 Rs by auto rickshaw, can be reached in 5 minutes. 5. There is a separate kitchen facility available for groups who want to prepare pure vegetarian food. 6. Food is available on room service menu at affordable price. 7. Cleanliness of hotel is good. Cons:- 1. Indian style toilet is only available at rooms located on ground floor. Rest all have purely western style toilet. Overall a very good choice - especially for people who want to stay only in shrinagar during their whole tour of Kashmir.
