The stay was superb so the staff and food and special kashmir kawa perfect place to stay for family and friends will visit ...nice wooden work ..real kashmiri style old heritage....like mughals..director of houseboots...was very freindly and polite..

Stayed here for 3 days. Great clean and hygienic place. Amazing staff and even better food. Loved the fact that we were right in centre of dal lake with so much of heritage around, no noise, no pollution, amazing sun rise view.. overall an amazing experience....

Very good experience specially bcz of wonderful staff . Gulzar bhai in specific made sure we are comfortable and tried to make us feel at home . Food was average . But would definitely recommend to stay atleast for a day or 2 for different experience .

I stayed there 1 night to have the experience of houseboats. Great staffs. Clean place. Toilet are small but as in boat it is considerable. Good foods. In dinner they served rice, roti, mixed vegetables, dal, dam aloo, chicken, papad, hot & sour soup, Halwa. And in breakfast there was bread with butter and jam, upma and coffee/tea. There also came some salesman to sell handicrafts like shawl, showpieces, dresses , and also very cheap in deal. Dry fruits and saffrons seller also came. So a very good night stay.

Great real Srinagar experience 

What a harrowing experience here it was, firstly, the drop service guy charged ₹1000/- which was supposedly free, secondly rooms were very clumsy with no HOT water supply and NO free drinking water, not even a single water bottle was complementary. Furthermore, was charged ₹700/- in the name of room heating which works b/w 8-9:30 & in the morning it did not even start as it malfunctioned, to top that, food served was majorly cold, though tasted good still. My suggestion, check out other house boats and also cross verify their rates before flushing your hard earned money here. It requires a major revamping else soon they'll be out of business. One more thing, their claim for hot running water never be approved or perhaps we were deprived of all the GOODNESS! THANKS 👌💐 Anyway, wouldn't recommend anyone for your houseboats Sir. My money is wasted is an experience for thousands who'll save from my advise. To top that, the gentlemen is calling and arguing about the services, patience doesn't pay. Do NOT book through MMT. 

Harrowing experience through narrowed services of MMT. 

We stayed at Iram houseboat with Montreal group in Srinagar. We lost 11000 Rs cash within one hour of reaching this houseboat. The owner was unsympathetic and unapologetic. It was the start of our trip to Kashmir and a very bad experience. The owner was rude and would move around the houseboat whenever he wished to. Would not recommend this houseboat to anyone.

Stealing at houseboat

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a putrid and repulsive odor that permeated the entire vicinity. The stench was intolerable and made my stay an absolute nightmare. Furthermore, to my utter disbelief, the pillow covers and sheets in my room were visibly soiled and reeked of neglect. This is an unforgivable oversight, demonstrating a complete lack of hygiene standards and basic cleanliness protocols.

Please avoid this house if you visit Srinagar.

Not a good place if your visiting with your family. If you're coming with family go with Nigeen lake houseboats.

Although it is bit good. But food variety are limited. Stay is not that pleasant.

I would suggest avoid houseboat around Dal Lake
