Execellent service, food delicius.
Homely cooked food
We stay 3 days in backwaters, sailing with BEST crew.
They take care of us, we feel like home.
Alasr and family take care of all group like family, we had an smazing sunset expirience with local family.
Boat IS so nice, Big rooms all with Big Windows.
For sure we Will repeat again.

Good place to hang out with family and friends. Highly recommend this place for a home stay. Great for couples who have toddlers and babies too. They also guide for nearby boating trip in backwaters. Good clean rooms and the landlord is always Available nearby if needed

The  Property is located in the center.The owner of the property is very helpful and organised Boat trip to backwaters and taxi.
Recommended to all.Very friendly staff and neat and clean rooms food is very tasty and laundry service is also available .

The room was very spacious and comfortable. 
Garden View rooms .you can book direct through  WhatsApp. Good food 😋 and owner arranged backwaters trip and taxi and also organised full kerala  packages. Food is very delicious and home cooked food.

I really can’t recommend enough staying with Riyadh and his beautiful family. We had such a great time and Riyadh and his family where so kind and attentive to our needs. Really just good hearted people. They helped us with everything from where to get a message and finding houseboats, to finding our next accommodation and checking up on us even after we left. 

And his wife is an amazing chef!!

Our kids played and had so much fun together which just made our stay even more special ❤️🙏🏼

Sheikh Riyas and his family are so charming and absolutely lovely! The homestay had cozy rooms for us and amazing food - and such lovely company! A two nights backwaters trip on a house boat for two people was arranged by Sheikh Riyas for us - and it was absolutely perfectly amazing - a lovely boat, amazing food, trustworthy and kind staff, lovey anchoring spots at night. On the second day we took waterways off the beaten path, which was especially lovely. We highly recommend him for arranging a backwaters house boat experience!

Fantastic trip with very welcoming hosts. They were so helpful in organising activities for the day and invited us along with their friends to the Nehru Boat Race. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend 

We spent two nights here with family and I must say that everything was excellent. The location of the hotel is quite close to all tourist attractions as well as some other places in the city. the room was excellent and  comfortable. I would definitely recommend this resort to others.

Excellet boat trip

A nice size room with a private bathroom. The room is located inside a big family house.
The hosts are an husband annd wife with their 2 daughters. They are very nice and welcoming. They helped me booking my train and a rickshaw to the station, made me tea and gave me local recommendations to the area.
The pros:
•live with a local family and experience some of the local’s life 
•feel a bit of home when you’re away from home
•the room has everything you need 
Lovely host! 
The downsides-
• I didn’t manage to work out hot water in the shower (maybe if i asked there was a way)
•There was no lock on the door and someone actually walked into my room once whilst i was there 😬
•The bathroom could do with a bit more cleaning but it wasn’t anything too dramatic
I only stayed for one night so i didn't bother asking to fix any of these but given their positive attitude I'm sure they would have found a solution if i asked.

Lovely homestay and trustworthy arranging of a houseboat backwaters trip!

The house itself was beautiful and the family was welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms were new, clean, comfortable and modern with hot water. The food was amazing. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and were served a variety of delicious local dishes for each meal including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, rice, breads, water and coffee. The spicy chickpeas and coconut cabbage were some of my favorite dishes I had in India! They also had a nice outdoor terrace for hanging out. We even had dinner outside one night under a tree with fairy lights ... so cool! I was really happy to stay there. The location was convenient within walking distance to the beach (I didn't go, but others in my group did). It was delightful change of pace to stay with these lovely people. 

Wonderful experience

This place is just so wonderful. It's a real family based home, with so much care and passion in looking after the guests. The rooms are beautiful, with some in our group getting 4 post beds, beautiful blanket spreads and comfortable large rooms. 

We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast at this hotel, amazing home cooked dishes! We all just really enjoyed this stay, all just bought up our spirits and we had a great time. 

Beautiful home and family

Alasr is a beautiful homestay with spacious and comfortable rooms! Clean bathroom and great shower. Owner and staff were really friendly and made us all feel comfortable and had an lovely family feel! Also the food was absolutely amazing the cauliflower curry was the best ever! Would highly recommend for anyone to stay here.
