Lavasa is a city built near Pune.
This place is insane !!! People around Bombay and Pune should definitely go here !!! This place is amazing. Clean roads , beautiful streets , a big fat lake between the city , all the beautiful bunglows , lavish apartments , upgraded lifestyle everything here is so perfect. This city is a dream city. I went here with bunch of friends that's probably the best day till date I spent there !!!!!!!

This place has left memories that are worth preserving for lifetime... but would still let you all know some point that will help improve you experience as well...

1. Make sure you add your address on Zomato or Swiggy as there are good restaurants that will deliver to your villa...

2. Beware of the mosquitos as my uncle got malaria when we were there ... but we were all total bindaas and this probably happened due to late night walks in rains and getting wet constantly...

3. There are lot of restaurants near the lake side and they also have their takeaway menus for delivery so make sure to pay them a visit...

In the end would like to say that if you go in couples or with a big group this place won't let you down and will welcome you with open arms...

If you want a calm and soothing experience, then Lavasa is a good option for you. The best time to visit is the rainy and winter season. A very clean and maintained place for family and friends for a day visit or stay as well. Being a tourist place, cost of everything is a bit on the higher side.

It is not very happening place now.... no activities to do for family and kids... but a good peaceful stroll stations the lake that’s what u can do.....there are very few eateries and food joints... 
the entry fee is 500/- and allow to enter the city only if u have prior booking inside.

Lavasa is a private,planned city being built near Pune.It is stylistically based on the Italian town Portofino, with a street and several buildings bearing the name of that town.It is almost 55km from main town Pune and is the best place to vist with family in Pune.

How to reach ??

There is no direct train or flight connectivity to lavasa. Nearest railway station is Lonavala which is 29km away from lavasa city and nearest airport is Pune airport which is 67km from lavasa.
Regular bus and taxi services are available for lavasa or you can take a cab from ola or uber.

Things to do ??

1. Lavasa is Paradise for food lover.
Lavasa offers a variety of national and international restaurants for tourists. Its beautiful interiors and exteriors catches the eyes of visitors and more than this, it serves the customers with food which is hard to find across the country. All this specialities makes it one of the top tourist places in Lavasa.

2. Watersports
Lavasa puts up multitudinous watersport activities to tourists like jetski, kayanking, and pedal boating for those who wants to spend some quality with their partners.

3. Adventure sports
If you are not the leisure type of a person, Lavasa has something interesting in terms of adventure as well. They have The X-Thrill adventure sports company offers activities like Zipline, Paint Ball, Rock Climbing, ATV Ride, etc. 

4. Varasgaon dam
Feel the breeze of the wind in Varasgaon dam and view the scenic beauty of the location its peak of monsoon season. By offering various water sport activities, the place has become a tourist destination for many people.

I visited the natural green integrated hill city on my bike and road to the place is really thrilling and that is worth visiting the centre.

The city has all the facilities inside and lake is a good place for bird watchers

Nice pleasure breezing weather during monsoon, tourist place best for vacay stay and chill. Greenary, mountain view,city colors,bridge and cozyness. Market and food is little high priced. Can hire bicycle single/ double seated.

Could have been a better place if it was completed. But still a well planned city but incomplete. Not much to enjoy but you could go for a boat ride, cycling and spend some quiet time and good food. The complete surrounding is very scenic. It will be awesome if visited during rainy season.

Amazing place have been twice and loved it completely managed well and it's nice place to go if you travel early morning and also in evening. Approach road is not good of 5-7 kms approx, but rest all is good.

Good place around pune.

Nothing great about Lavasa. Mahabaleshwar is far way better. Just one lake, Hotel Water Front Shaw facing the lake. Good just if you want to laze around. The road to xthrill adventure camp is very very bad, we turned back just with 1 km out of the total 7 km to it.
