Gisting og Gallerí

We only stayed in Gisting og Galleri one night. It is a lovely small guesthouse. Have a cash with you to pay for the stay. They don't accept card payments! The place was very clean, well maintained and looked after. I think it was the cleanest place from all that we stayed in during our 7days road trip around the island. The owner was nice and helpful. Lovely big kitchen for the guests to use, nice lounge and stunning views. There's a bathroom with toilet, shower over the bath and separate WC too. The only minus was lack of any wardrobe space. We stayed in triple room and had only 1 small bedside table, few coat hooks on the wall and little stool. The room was quite small but I believe it could be rearranged to fit small single wardrobe. Although the weather that night was really windy and cold, we have not felt that indoors. The whole place was very warm. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Olafsvik as on top of lovely accommodation we also managed to there some beautiful Northern Lights just minutes away from town.
