Siglo Harbour Hostel and Apartments

We rented the top floor apartment of this unassuming building but it was the most cozy, comfortable, light-filled apartment of all the accommodations during our 12 night trip in Iceland. The apartment was large, spacious, the beds comfortable, there was a washer and dryer, and nice view of the water from smallish windows in the living area. We only stayed one night during a blustery/rainy/stormy day, but the accommodation made up for it. After checking in we drove through the tunnels to Olafsfjordur to visit the local pool in the cold and blustery weather on a Wednesday evening. We had the entire place to ourselves with the exception of five other people, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The young man who checked us in was very kind and helpful too.
