Ace Guesthouse

Clean, reasonably priced, 5 minutes to airport.  Nice view and very comfortable. Had a one day stay that was convenient for car rental from Star Car Rental that picked us up at airport and delivered us back to airport without any problems.  Very kind personnel with good tips for travel in Iceland. 

We chose the Ace Guesthouse for our last night in Iceland as it is quite close to the KEF airport and we had an early departure on the next day. It is in a redidential area close to the highway but still close to some of attractions in Reykjanesbaer. Our room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. 
There was a good communication with the host of the guesthouse and she even ordered us a taxi to the airport for the next morning. Also the recommendation for food was great (we went to Issi Fish & Chips).

It was a very cute room with 4 beds. very clean and the room across the hall from us was unlocked and open the entire time we stayed there. The gentleman that checked us in was super nice and very accommodating.

We had rented a campervan for 16 days with the owners of this place. We did our vehicle return right here. Easy as it gets. Very nice room near airport. Excellent seafood dinner in Keflavik and owner gave us ride to airport next morning. Especially appreciated getting laundry done after 16 days on the road. We had made prior arrangements with owner as this is not a usual service provided with your stay. I highly recommend this place for a very comfortable place to stay near airport. Lot's of places to eat in Keflavik, so no great loss if you're not in Reykjavik. Quick ride to the airport.

Visited in January and it was a highlight of our stay even through the room was booked just for a layover. The guesthouse is easy to get to. It is a beautiful location, our window faced the ocean. It was cloudy, but if it had been clear we would have seen northern lights. Great service and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed.

we, a family of 8 persons, have taken 3 rooms , bath rooms, and kitchen, the rooms were clean plain and well heated, the kitchen well equiptted. near by are a supermarket and a bakery. the location is close to the airport and to the car rental agencies.
The owner was polite and helpful.
The place is recommended for a over night sleep after landing or before departure

This rental company is a total scam. When we picked up a car at KEF, the Keflavik airport of Iceland, an agent there went through the inspection process during which he showed me the scratches and dents on the front bumper and marked some "number" on the inspection paper. I was too naive to double check. When we returned the car, logically, another agent pointed out the scratches and dents, and showed me what marked on the paper was merely "chips". To repair I have to pay 1300 USD. What can I say, it is a hefty lesson for me to be naive and unprepared for the nasty people in this business. During the dispute the manager said repeatedly that this type of "incidents" happen a lot and he always wins. I am therefore so surprised that this ACE company has an almost perfect review score at this website. It make me wonder how trustful this website has become.
