Guest Rest Studio Apartments

A most amazing stay. I chose the property because I loved the historical connections with Serbia, Tesla, and the ceramic trade in Pécs. I've been to Budapest many times (done the four and five-star experience) but I have to say this property beats them all. A truly perfect stay made even better with Marko's assistance... when I asked for directions, he took the time to walk me to a restaurant (where his sister was waiting for him) and tell me exactly where to go. I must mention that she was also welcoming and so very, very nice and friendly. I LOVED them as hosts! I was definitely not disappointed in the building or room...the building was breathtaking and historically significant and my room was so nice I wanted to just stay there. It was on a quiet street and I had a view of the inner courtyard so the room was also quiet and comfortable. There was a nice little kitchen (didn't use it but nice to have) with a seating area and (bonus!) a very large wardrobe. I must mention the outlet in the bathroom...so great to have it since bathroom outlets are very often missing in hotel rooms. There was a ton of hot water and there were plenty of towels too! There is a nice coffee place (Mantra) just next to the building (the staff here were also very welcoming) and a beautiful Serbian church on the corner. The neighborhood is lovely and historical with many restaurants and a lovely park. The property is in District 5 so just around the corner from Vaci Street and quite near to Astoria and the Jewish quarter. A truly great location...I really enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely stay here again... I wish I could have stayed longer just to spend more time in my room and at the property!
