Hotel Quetzali

My wife and my 6 year old stress reliever went to Guatemala city for a doctor visit. We are not too familiar with the city so we decided to stay close to the bus terminal. We have heard a lot of bad things about the city that is why we also wanted to stay close. The hotel is very clean, the front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful specially the ones in the kitchen. The waitress was great. She already knew what i wanted every time i went to the bar :-) We spent there 2 days. For the first day, we took taxi to travel around ( even though it feels cheap, it is not ) so we noticed every single stop and we were able to move around on our own after that. The market and the main street where all the fun things happens is just a few blocks away ( if we would have known before, we wouldn't have paid for the taxi ). We just made sure we were back at the hotel before the sunset! Overall, this is a great little hotel not to expensive! If we go back to the city again we will definitely stay here again!
