The staff was great, they even packed me a complimentary lunch bag for my hike.

The hotel is very positive, comfortable and convenient, the garden is very nice.

Easy to check in and out, very much a minimalist quiet spot away from the town center, but great value for its price.

It's my first time rating the excellence of a place.

The staff were very accommodating to our travel arrival restrictions. They helped us with arranging transportation to and from international airport. Room was clean, property was beautiful, the breakfast on offer was filling and tasty.

Great place and service! Highly recommend.

Our tour group selected this hotel- as usual, a good combination of a reasonable walk to the main square but set apart from the commotion.  The rooms center around a courtyard with beautiful plantings and tables set up for conversation.  There’s a spiral staircase leading up to the roof from the second floor.  Good for volcano viewing!

No elevators that I noticed.  Coffee, hot water, cold water and lemon pound cake all available 24/7.  

The room was attractive but the only natural light was from the picture window in the sleeping area- not very private!  No bedside lamp, which would have added some light.  Bathroom needed more space, maybe a shelf, to store toiletries.

Breakfast was good, with traditional local options and the usual eggs, meats and cheese.

This is a good place to get laundry done- they charge by the pound, it’s very reasonable and it’s done the next day.

Beautiful Setting

The property is clean, beautiful and well kept.  The staff are attentive, though communication was a slight challenge with my poor spanish speaking ability.  Overall really nice people there though and we made it work.  Its a little bit of a walk to the town center--about 15 minutes, but this made the property really quiet, which was nice.  Having AC was a huge plus.  And the garden was really gorgeous.  Breakfast was included and was very good.  It has a rooftop but no real hangout area up there.  Still cool to be able to view the city though.  The front desk arranged a safe ride to the airport for a reasonable price--about $35 USD.  Would recommend

This hotel is amazing! It’s only a 10-15 minute walk from the main plaza. The area is nice and quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the price is a lot cheaper than staying closer to the plaza. The courtyard is stunningly beautiful with all the plants and flowers. I have never seen anything like it. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There is a rooftop where you get a beautiful view of the city and the volcanoes. Don’t think about it twice and book it!

This hotel is just enough outside the center of the city to be very quiet but still close enough for it to be just a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Rooms are comfortable (as are the beds) and the breakfast included is a help yourself buffet. There is also coffee available all day. Very friendly staff indeed.

Nice hotel with courtyard

Service from this property is top notch. Staff is so friendly and kind. Free breakfast is included. I was able to check in early and they held my luggage after check out and allowed me to stay on the property until my shuttle came later in the day. Internet was extremely slow in my room. The area can also be a little sketchy. I was ok leaving the hotel during the day when it was light out but I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking in that area at night. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the Central square park.

Perfect place for quiet respite after walking Antigua all day. The staff was very attentive. Good fresh coffee and cake always available was a nice touch. You can see lava eruption on the volcano from the rooftop terrace. The free breakfast was quite nice with eggs, frijoles, plantains and bread. A simple meat offering was also available along with granola and cereal.

A nice, quiet Hotel.

It is a little paradise right near everything. The room was lovely facing a garden. I ended up getting I’ll with food poisoning (not from hotel) but the staff were so sweet and helpful, bring me tea and soup and doing laundry. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Breakfast was great. I would definitely return. It’s about 4 blocks from the main square so it’s quiet, but oh my the garden was spectacular.

This hotel was exactly as advertised. Birds singing in the serene courtyard greeted us every morning as we came out of our room. The staff was very helpful in getting us on a tour to Lake Atitlan and transportation to the airport.  Our room was clean and comfortable. Easy walking access to the main parts of the city. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay

The hotel is about 10 minutes safe walk from the main square. The location provides a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of Antigua. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the beds were a little hard. Adrian arranged a fabulous trip for my family to Chichi and Pana; he is a real asset to the hotel and speaks excellent English.

Great quiet small hotel with wonderful staff.

The property is gorgeous with beautiful grounds and courtyard. Staff is amazing and provided plenty of suggestions for food and exploration of Antigua. Small problem with hot water not being available. Tap water also ran brown after heavy rain and smelled of chlorine. Room was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable. Suite includes fridge.
