We returned from our holidays in Ionian Beach - one week in the end of July 2019. Kids, aged 10 and 12 had a great time meeting friends and playing games all day - congrats to the amusement team for kids. Food was acceptable - standard things but every time something a little gourmet not to get bored. 

Pool was clean and good. Rooms were small but functional - cleaningess was OK. Guests were mainly families and a group of foreign students.
Room for improvements could be an amusement team and games organization for the adults.

In general, you had the feeling that somebody was taking care of details to have the hotel organised and efficiently operational.

I was in this resort last year with my family. It was a great resort , wonderful place. Nice people , good food and especially the beach. The rooms very clean and comfortable. The linens are changed every day. Good location. The resort is ideally for families with childrens

Great value for money, friendly staff, great location, nice atmosphere, really good food and clean rooms. Would highly recommend for young families. Clean swimming pool and great sea front. 
Will definitely visit again in the future.

I stayed here last year in July with friends and we had a really nice holiday. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable. The food was good enough with plenty of choice each time. The hotel pool was clean but we preferred the excellent facilities at the beach because the sea here is fantastic for swimming. free sunbeds and umbrellas and beach bar all included. There was entertainment in the evenings for those who want it and children seemed to be having a great time. I think this is a good place for families. We found some interesting archeological places to visit nearby although a car is essential here. The staff were all very friendly and for the price we paid I would say this is value for money.

It depends on what you are looking for.Its big drawback are the buildings that are relatively old but they are clean. Food is nice. It is most suitable for families cause they have teachers that play creatively with children. The sea is simply fantastic and very clean. We paid an all inclusive programm that i think it was good value for money.

Fantastic Resort

Great for families with young children. It is a bit neglected and in need of renovation. It you like a trip to memory lane like the 80s then it will be great. The sea side beach is great for children some rocks on the shore but a couple of meters in the sea it has sand. You can call me strange but I expect fresh food when I pay for it. All the days it had left overs from previous days re cooked and transformed into something else in order to save money. I didn't like that at all.

You get what you pay for.

In a nice part of Kato Achayia -Lakkopetra- with a wonderful  beach and seaside but with poor buildings and terrible food. Very much low level of cooking and poor quality of ingredients. 
The rooms and their furniture seem to have been forgotten for decades.  The mattresses were very old and totally uncomfortable!  The tubs and shower were full of calcs and not properly operating. The only thing working properly, though quite old, was the air conditioning. 
I won’t visit this place again.

One week back in the past!

There is no 0, or negative evaluation star to give ... The worst experience ever.

My wife along with my daughters arrived by the afternoon. The receptionist aggressively gave some instructions, under the statement "Listen well, I am getting tired of repeating it". Then the "room":
Broken and rusty bed (see photos). A patented rusty piece of metal was the "support" in order for the bed not to fold. My daughter walking next to this crooked "support" hit her leg, luckily nothing serious.
No hot water from the SOLAR heater (!!!!) in the middle of summer.
Kids' friendly: no way!!! No ramp anywhere for moving a stroller, on the contrary, too many steps to curry it under relative risk/danger.
Personel: totally ignorant with a lack of professionalism. They have nothing to do with the Greek hospitality

Fact: someone said that he would change our bed, and after one hour (by 23:30) we were still waiting .... I was trying to find him, and surprisingly, he was enjoying his aperitive by the pool. He gave us another room, but when I went there, moving all our luggage, there was no light, again no water, and the worst the power switch of 220V was out of the wall, with all the cables unplugged not covered, nor isolated (see photos).

After this fact we moved to another room (it was late 1:30-1:45), which had not again hot water, and it was full of mosquitos. I slept for 1-2 hours due to the tension after all these troubles, and behavior. The next morning I went to the reception, where the receptionist was really ironically curious, after the fact that they had so many repeller devices, and they did not give me one.

The second (and last) night, was a normal one.
Leaving I asked them to refund the first night, and the next working day, I passed my request to the platform EKDROMI gr), which is collecting the payment for the hotel. After 23 days (!!!!!), and after reminders, and phone calls, they replied that they could not refund part of the payment (even if they stated that I had all the right to ask for it), since we stayed in the property (it would be rather normal to travel by almost 03:00 am with two kids 5 and 7 years old, beacause someone do not want to honor his position). They blamed me (!!!!) after the fact that I did not call them right away (on Friday night, or Saturday when they were closed) in order for them to settle it up, and during the discussion, the lady I was talking to, just hung up the phone, terminating the call in this inapropriate and unprofessional way. It was the (difficult) moment when I asked her if there is such a term/ condition on the refunding policy ......

Conclusion: STAY AWAY !!!!!

The worst ever experience

This is an example on how to run a hotel business in the "traditional" Greek way.

First of all, the bungalows are old and worn-out (clogged bath siphons and poor bath in general, old, bumpy mattresses giving you spine pains, old TV set, old towels, etc.) and generally leave you with the impression of very low-end hotel.
Had the owner decided to spend a little more money to renovate them, the picture would have been totally different.

Another very disappointing area is in regards to the breakfast and meals offered.
Breakfast has really nothing good to offer being very cheap and of bad quality; it is vastly disappointing that nowadays there are hotels offering this kind of juices (that were uysually offered in hotel patients back in the 80's).

The bungalows are really nearby the beach (which is good) but this also means that  are nearby the beach-bar as well (which is bad given the poor, old sound proof of the bungalows).
The music played in the beach bar is also too loud!
Speaking of music, there is some music while taking your lunch. At the days I have been there, it was a real heavy "bouzoukia" music, naturally heard in a night club, with a lot of whiskey ad cigarettes!

The most disappointing item though was the behaviour of the personnel in the reception. They were insultive towards my wife due to a misunderstanding in regards to the overall price of our staying (biased towards their benefit of course).
Trully disappointed that we can still find such kind of behaviours during these crisis days!

I am here now and they will not even let us stay..we have booked 4 rooms (11 persons). They acted at first as if they didnt know and after awhile we descovered they have given the rooms to a biggest group of people.i dont know what to stay just pls dont come here everrr..a waste of money ,terrible service and people.
