Been spending my holidays in Nea Vrasna for the last 14-15 years now. This bistro is one of my favourite places to eat. Always busy, good food and reasonably priced.
The lager is always cold, the food quick to arrive and we’ve never been disappointed with the service.

This was a great find. It is in a fantastic beach front location and is good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff with great spoken English. It also has superb underground parking.

There are loads of places around to eat and drink that we’re open 30th May 2023. Well worth pulling off the main road for this town and accommodation.

The room was very clean, comfy and had everything you might need during your vacation (e.g. electric stove, sink, mini fringe etc.). We had no trouble with the parking, as the property also offered underground parking. We chose to park next to the property, right under our balcony, so this was also great. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, you can even hear the waves :) The breakfast was diverse and super tasty. Last but not least, all members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a great time there and will surely return! Thank you for having us!

We booked it 2 weeks before the visit in the high season when the choice was really restricted but we were nicely surprised that the place is actually very good - new, clean, right at the beach. Rooms are big enough with small kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Even though the streets around are narrow there is a free parking area just 50m away from the hotel and there is also underground parking in the hotel. The breakfast is good, not huge variety but still nice. There are not that many restaurants in the town and most of them are like fast-food places - serving gyros but you can still find some nice places.

We visited as a family in August 2017. Booked last minute, so the room rates were not the best, but overall we were very happy with the place. The owner and staff are super nice and super friendly. Everyone is laid-back and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is included in the rates.

What we liked the most:
1. Location. The hotel is right in the middle of Nea Vrasna and close to everything else.
2. Staff. Everyone is nice and helpful.
3. Parking. There is an undeground garage and plenty of street parking either in front or at the back of the hotel.
4. Internet. It had fast wi-fi internet. The connection is a bit unstable (needs a better router with support for more devices) but it was the best internet connection of all nearby places which we tried. 
5. Breakfast. The breakfast was great. It did not change much from day to day, but the food was delicious and plentiful and consistent. Good coffee too (as far as hotel coffee goes).

What we didn't like as much:
This is mostly covered in the other reviews, but here's my 2 cents:
1. The beach right in front of Nea Vrasna has larger pebbles instead of fine sand, so it's not the best beach in the world. The water gets deep as soon as you step in. It is OK for swimming, but it is a major problem for letting small kids play in the water, because they can't touch bottom and it is a big drowning hazard. There is a shallower beach with smoother sand in the neighboring town Stavros, about 7-10 minutes away by car, so we went there one of the days. 
2. The cleaning of the rooms can use some improvement. The tile grout in the bathrooms was a bit moldy. A little bleach can do wonders to it. Our rooms/beds were not made every day. I think the managers need to supervise the cleaning staff better. 
3. Ambient noise. This is inevitable as the place is very centrally located. It did not bother us, but people should be aware that on any given night there may be bar music, street performers, people watching soccer and all other kinds of ambient street noise. Bring some earplugs and you will be A OK. 

I hope this helps. Definitely recommend the place and would consider staying there on future visits to that part of Greece.

Amalthea made is located at the fist line right by the sea with very good facilities, they serve breakfast which is suitable for all tastes, also they have a private underground parking which is very useful in the hot weather as the car doesn't heat up. This hotel also has a double floor room which can fit up to 5 people which is suitable for family holiday.

En excellent place to relax for all your family! Personnel is awsome and very hospitable. The hotel is really clean and the rooms are large. Nice wi-fi connection. Perfect view. The hotel is near by a free parking, right next to many shops and restaurants. I racomand it for all season vacations.

Amalthea Mare is located on the sea front, with very good, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is very nice, varied, and suitable for all ages - we were travelling with young children in our gropu and there was something for every one of us. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are restaurants, bars and shops close by. All in all, an excellent place for a vacation.
