We spent wonderful 10 days in Kolios. We have rented the bigger of the 2 apartments which has a big and well equipped kitchen and is really spacious for a family of four. Although the building is a bit older, the apartment is very clean and comfortable. We did not miss anything. The sea view is great and Kolios has a small, but nice, clean and sandy beach, which was less crowded than other beaches. Even better is the beach in the next bay, which is a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of tavernas in walking distance. The only downside is, that you need to walk on the main road to many of them,which is a bit stressful with kids due too the high traffic. But that's an issue for most places on Skiathos.
