Villa Coco Studios

Villa Coco is a picturesque Greek villa with beautiful blue shutters and a stunning view from the patio. I stayed with my husband and 2 young children in the downstairs studio which has 2 interleading rooms both with ensuite bathrooms and an outside shower. The studio is equipped with everything you need - fridge, aircons, hairdryer, kettle and hot plate, comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. There is also an outside area where you can sit and relax or enjoy a meal. Everything is so fresh and tasteful. Best of all, the owners, Calla and Janelle, are the most welcoming and hospitable people. Their knowledge of the island is amazing and we could not have wished for better guidance on car hire, boat trips, restaurants and beaches to visit. They speak English and Afrikaans which is a bonus for South Africans! Thanks to Janelle and Calla we had the holiday of a lifetime.

If you are looking for truly stunning accommodation and superb hospitality in Skiathos, then look no further than Villa Coco. This truly magnificent Villa has been beautifully appointed and from the minute you arrive you feel you are in paradise.The view of the bay of Sklithri is awesome and Sklithri beach and Taverna is few minutes walk away. The owners Calla and Janelle could not be more perfect hosts. Villa Coco can be recommended to anyone looking for accommodation and setting far above the norm in Greece.

Our long awaited, carefully planned dream island holiday became a reality when we landed on Skiathos Island and were taken to Villa Coco where Calla and Janelle met us like long lost friends.  Rose and I, having seen 'pics' of the villa were overwhelmed by the gorgeous view from the patio. The typical Greek Island style Villa Coco exceded my expectations, is charming and beautifully decorated by Janelle herself. Our studio was gorgeous, fresh and comfortable with everything we needed for a short holiday. One can even enjoy the view from a private outdoor shower - this is really fun! On waking up in the morning the first thing we said "ANOTHER beautiful day!" which continued throughout our stay on Skiathos.
Conveniently situated, a quick walk to the bus stop and a pleasant ride to either town or any one of the beaches chosen for the day. We also caught the water taxi from there to town and returned to carry on sunbathing!!  Beautiful routes are to be found for walking or running around the peninsula and of course, once again, there are breath taking views from every angle!
Calla and Janelle are well versed with the island and are always happy to discuss any restaurant, shops, beaches or anything you want to know.  Their passion for the island is electric and one can only feel and share their sentiment. Their wonderful hopitality which included sundowners on the patio and shared stories for the day was a perfect wrap up for the day.

A Stunning blue and white Villa in Skiathos

A Jewel on Skiathos!

Wow!  A once in a lifetime experience!

Despite the owner is very kind,the studios aren t so confortable as the photos in ta show. They don't reflect the real conditions of studios and when we talked about this with the owner, she said "Sorry, i forgot to change them after the works...". No comment.

First of all,they are located in a down area ,4 or 5 metres under villa coco,where the only view that you can have is the wall and forest near the house.

The studios have no windows ,there is just the door.
It's full of mosquitos and only One of the 2 doors have a mosquito net.
It s true that there is air condition,but in skiathos,you should appreciate its Wind..
The only table that you have is outside,and it looks like a bar table,so small that you can t have neither your breakfast.
Last but not least,there are mice that in the night come to see if you left something to eat just outside the door.incredible!!
To sum up,as we said to the owner,if we knew these conditions,we wouldn t go there! 
Skiathos is full of accomodations, maybe even cheaper.
