My stay at Meroviglia was incredible from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the door the team welcomed me with George offering me a complimentary glass of local wine as well as kindly guiding me through the island. 

I felt safe here as a solo traveller (in Santorini for a wedding) and the team ensured I had everything I needed. The pool/dining area was beautiful and the rooms are large and spacious. Despite being described  as a 3* this feels like a 4* hotel. 

I couldn’t recommend Meroviglia enough! It’s also situated in a great location.

A Tranquil Escape in the Heart of Imerovigli

If you’re looking for a place to unwind in Santorini without the buzz of the crowds, Meriviglia in Imerovigli is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil—tucked away yet central enough to feel like you’re in the heart of it all. Low key music drifts through the air, setting the perfect tone for total relaxation.

The staff strike a rare balance: attentive yet never intrusive. Even during the breakfast rush, when you can tell there's a lot going on behind the scenes, the service always feels calm and gracious.

One of the unexpected highlights was Luna, the hotel owner's dog. She’s a regular around the property, and her sweet, well-behaved nature just adds to the peaceful charm of the place.

The décor? A whole vibe. Thoughtful, stylish, and curated to feel both modern and authentic to the island.

All in all, I’d absolutely stay here again—for the right price, it's one of those places that lingers in your memory long after the trip ends.

We had a good stay at this hotel. Even though it was the off-peak season, the hospitality was impressive. The room was nice, well-equipped, and featured a lovely balcony with a stunning view of the caldera. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options that would be satisfying even for a longer stay.

Wonderful staff, location it didn’t disappoint. Victoria at the front desk was always helpful. George, Aris at the restaurant  with great recommendations and professional. Fico restaurant had wonderful options. Rooms are unique and quite comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a blast. Had a superior suite with a sea view and we were very satiesfied.

The Meroviglia is a true gem of a hotel. 
Stayed here for a week and we did not want to leave. It is set in beautiful grounds, very discreet, the rooms are spacious and the service is impeccable. 
The Fico restaurant within the hotel has a great menu. Be sure to try their delicious breakfast selection. 
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. You are on top of the island amongst fig and olive trees with amazing views, and it’s a great spot for wherever you may desire to go on the island, or simply just watch the sunset in the hills behind. There’s are a great variety of shops and restaurants nearby and if you need advice on excursions the Meroviglia staff will provide you with every little detail. 
We would love to come back here at the first possible opportunity. An easy 10/10 score from us. Go here if you can!

Exceeded all expectations. Brand new hotel that has a clean design and great look and feel, embracing the true definition of boutique hotel,  with a very dedicated and genuinely attentive staff (Ioanna, Dimitris and all the other staff members that were exceptional at all times). Breakfast is à la carte with generous portions and a good variety to choose from. Overall a fantastic experience that I couldn't recommend enough and that I will definitely repeat if I return to Santorini

I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The hotel grounds are stunning and so aesthetically pleasing. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Location is very convenient - lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nothing compares to relaxing by the pool on a hot summer Santorini day. I will 100% stay here again should I return.

Nice, quiet hotel and friendly staff. Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and our room exceeded my expectations considering the affordable pricing. We got a room with two terraces, one with a great view of the south part of Santorini. Looking for a moderately priced hotel in Imerovigli, this hotel exceeded our expectations by far.

From the moment we checked in, we were utterly delighted with Merovigla Studios—and our delight grew with every upcoming day. Not only did our stay confirm we would be back in Santorini, but we would only want to stay in these studios. The rooms are so much more than the already wonderful photos, the pool area here makes you wistful to come back to the room while at the nearby beaches (which are amazing too!). 
This is a home away from home, in prime location in Imerovigli with the most wonderful people imaginable. Marianthi and Alex are there for every and any question. They easily recommended places and arranged transport to the airport and back. Graciousness took on a whole new meaning. 

It is safe to say that on my last day I am already trying to figure out when to come back here!

Hidden gem

We had booked and paid for 4 nights in a nearby venue but didn't like it.
One day, we wandered into Meroviglia and had lunch by the pool.  The people were so friendly and the vibe so good, that we checked on a room and ended up booking a sea view suite for 2 nights.
We didn't regret it. Our mood lifted when we moved in.
This place really works well and the location is terrific. Basically, it is a little community, away from the cruise ship tourists .

5. Silence!!! (Not easy to get in Santorini)
