Immaculate property with exceptional service. This is an esthetically gorgeous resort in all its community spaces but the rooms too are wonderful. The beds are super comfortable and the showers have a cozy enclosure with great water pressure and modern, easy to use showers The rooms are large giving you plenty of room to spread out esp. lots of handy counter space. People talk about the airplanes in this area being low flying over the beaches but we found it an attraction. We loved seeing them and got some cool videos and photos ! The black sand beaches are a big attraction in this area - so unique and fun to experience! The food at the restaurant was fantastic We loved the brunch. We did not have the dinner buffet but people seemed to love it as it was very busy. We ordered the rib eye off the menu with puree potatoes and it was a terrific meal!! Very well executed ( kudos to the chef) I have only two suggestions : 1) it would be lovely to have a railing or mini dock to help you enter the sea water. It’s nots the pebbles, it’s the boulders beyond them that make it treacherous to swim Walking further down the beach other places have come up with clever ideas to help you swim safely 2) the enteries into the pools are all similar and require climbing in and out by ladder or a “too deep” step for us 60 year olds. Finally the staff here were very pleasant and helpful. I would be happy to visit this hotel again and again.
