Welcome to Paradise Where do we start? Ok from the beginning - great communication and replies when booking our transfer to Abyssanto Suites & Spa, literally one email I sent and a confirmation received the next day and agreed a few months in advance, it was only on the flight that I wondered how they would know who they were picking up and when, as I realised I only told them what time I was flying - anyway there was Mr P waiting with a sign as we walked out from getting our luggage, he took our suitcases and escorted us to lovely transport air conditioning, water and a guided tour as we set off on our way through grapevines and blue skies! We arrived at the suites and Mr P said “Welcome to paradise” and that it was! The undisputed best view of the Caldera right before your eyes was breathtaking! We were greeted by Katerina, who was the most amazing friendly host handing us a glass of wine and a beer to celebrate our arrival! Mr P went through a number of tour options to choose from which were cheaper than ‘get your guide’ that I had researched before I came highly recommend the transport and tours offered by the hotel which we used regularly. We booked an Island tour which we would have never have found all the secret beauty spots on our own, such as the heart of Santorini in this photo which was stunning! The room we booked was like walking into a Mamma Mia set, small but extremely clean fresh and blue and white windows and doors, we were celebrating our 15th year wedding anniversary and were greeted with rose petals and flowers which was a lovely touch. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day with lovely robes which we used every day, both for the hot tub which every suite has and a huge and gorgeous breakfast delivered to your balcony so you can wake up and eat in front of that view was just unreal!! We booked a romantic dinner for our Anniversary and I’m so so glad we did, it completely exceeded our expectations, we were taken to a private terrace with candles lit all around, red roses, a table, an outside bed to watch the sunset and a very large hot tub for after the meal - it was fantastic. The service was 5 * - gorgeous food, rib eye steak or a choice of fish, the most amazing Santorini white wine (Atlantis Blue) and at the end they surprised us with a big chocolate love heart cake with our names on, even the chef came out with Mr P and Katerina with firework candles, it was perfection. We couldn’t have wished for a better anniversary and holiday! Thank you so much Mr P!! Abyssanto and your team and Santorini captured our hearts - we will be back!!!🙏🏼🇬🇷❤️
