The owner met us at the car park and carried our cases the short distance to the suite. He is such a lovely man, very peaceful. The suite is about 50 steps down from Oia's main street, perfect place to relax. The view from the terrace is stunning and the suite is beautiful. Would recommend King Neptune restaurant, by the main square. The rooftop views are magical. For the sunset, I recommend walking past the throngs of tourists, past the windmill to Lioyerma pool bar. Here you can sit with a drink and with a perfect view of the sunset.

We felt like being by a very good friend. Ionas was descrete and always with a warm smile and helpful. Haven‘t had such a friendly host never before. We were in 2 suites. For family with a child I recommend the suite Argo 3 (down). For couples of yourse honeymoon suite. The suites are very clean and quiete. A big Thank you Ionas and we hope to see you again. My husband and I stayed at Argo Suites for 3 nights (27/09 to 30/09) and had a wonderful time. Ion was an incredible host. He met us at the taxi rank and proceeded to navigate through the crowded streets of Oia with one of our suitcases balanced on one shoulder. Once we arrived, he checked us into our suite (we stayed in the Orpheus Junior Suite - highly recommend, perfect for a couple) and he left us to our own devices for pretty much our entire stay. Which suited us great! 

Positives:
• Location ... Many cave houses in Oia have main pedestrian thoroughfares as frontages and therefore, many rooms offer little to no privacy. This was not the case for Argo Suites. Due to the position of the property, our room and private terrace was accessible only by us.
• Room & furnishing ... Really comfortable and well appointed.
• Wifi ... from memory, this was good to.

Room for Improvement:
• The Continental Breakfast was a little lacking ... We were offered one small loaf of bread for the entire 3 night stay and some items did not get replaced the following morning. 

A breathtakingly stunning location that offers privacy, peace and quiet. Ionas is incredibly hospitable and the amenities are excellent. It was a perfect day. Highly recommend for the best possible stay in Oia. Views of the caldera and the castle. Eternally grateful for the place.

Fantastic accomadation just far enough away from the busy streets of Oia's main shopping and tourist area. Unlike many other rooms close by, Argo Suites are totally private. We stayed for 7 nights in The Junior Suite which was exactly as per the photos on their website. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the outdoor jucuzzi was perfect. Ion the owner/manager was a lovely man who couldn't do enough for us and on our last day, presented us with a bottle of wine a a couple of scarves. One warning, there are a lot of steps to negotiate to get up and down to the main restuarant and shopping area.

We found that this villa was excellent value for money (considering how pricey the rest of the caldera-front accommodation can be). If you want a view of the caldera and a hot tub, this would be my go to. The best part is that although many villas seem to be able to be seen into or have a pathway right in front f them, Argo villas are super private.
Loved the DIY breakfast supplies and especially loved the luxurious feel of the towels and the toiletries provided and of course the breathtaking view. Highly recommend!

Lovely cave like accommodation within an excellent location. Not for those who can't manage steps but fantastic if you can as you can be in the centre so quickly yet cannot hear the bustle when you're in your suite at all. Gorgeous breakfast brought to you at a time of your choice. Very clean and the suite cleaned daily and towels changed which we didn't expect for a three day break. Hot tub on the balcony added to the luxury as evenings are a bit cooler in October. Still cant believe the view having breakfast on that balcony or that they take your luggage up and down the steps for you.
