Convenient location for visiting the island, close to markets, taverns, restaurants, bakeries but in a somewhat secluded and quiet area.  The room was spotless, was redone every day and was equipped with a fridge and everything you need to cook and prepare breakfast, even if we always ate out.  The lady who runs the property is very nice, welcoming and kind.

 I liked everything.  I would have preferred a softer mattress, but that's personal preference.

Sweet home was a stop off for us each end of our holiday. It was excellent in every way. Very clean and everything you need. 
A huge Thankyou to poppy the owner, she really was fantastic. 
We even had a lift to the airport when leaving. 
Would definitely recommend!

We stayed 3 nights here Nov 18, 19, 20. Though off  season, there was excellent weather and we enjoyed the beautiful island with no crowds.
Location of this hotel was an easy drive from the airport and just a 5 minute drive to Fira's caldera. Worked out great for us. Parking was by the side of the house. We had already seen the route to this accommodation from the airport with google street view and drove easily to  Karterados . 
Spacious room with nice aesthetic touches like Sea shell frame mirror, Doric column stand for the table, lovely wall hangings etc. Balcony is great as well.
 Nosey neighbor objected to our parking on the street and was asking how much we paid etc. !! 
We had been left one bottle of drinking water when we arrived and it was not replenished on the 3 days we stayed. On Sunday we went to the Supermarket nearby to buy water at 4 and it was closed at 3pm. Next day the supermarket swiped our card twice and we are still disputing the charge on our cc. OK just a heads up, nothing to do with this room except for the drinking water hassle

Sweet Home hotel is an excellent option for a stay in Santorini. In a quiet location, one kilometer from Thira, and very close to restaurants, supermarkets, rent a car. The apartments, equipped with kitchenette and fridge, are very clean and very comfortable. The owners are very kind and very available to meet every need of their guests (they picked us up at the airport on our arrival and took us back to the airport for the return flight). I highly recommend the Sweet Home hotel to anyone who goes to Santorini to get to know this beautiful island.

I am so happy to have stayed here. Our room had a queen bed and one bunk bed. The kitchenette consists of an electric stove, vent, sink, dish rack, kettle and mini fridge. It was also equipped with cooking and eating utensils. There is a dinette in the room but the large balcony with a bigger table and chairs is a better place to eat. You can also smoke on The balcony. The room was very spacious for two people. The bathroom is spacious and updated. 

Popi, the owner, picked us up from the airport for free. She was very cheerful. There is no reception area but I noticed the buzzer by the entrance labelled "information." 

The hotel is located on a quiet street. It's more than 15 minutes to walk to Fira. I like that this area is less busy than Fira yet has many restaurants nearby. There is a supermarket nearby to buy cheap bottled water and anything you need. Less than 5 mins by foot, you will reach the bus stop and next to it, Erotokritos - a bakery with delicious and affordable baked goods including sandwiches, coffee, and chocolate mousse.

The only thing that bothered me was the odor from the fridge. It smelled like dead fish and filled the room every time I open the fridge. I'm sure Popi would have attended to it but we were out most of the day and didn't let her know. 

I highly recommend this hotel. All this for 40+ euros per night. I can't really complain 

I went with my friend in November. We rent a double room with kitchen and private bathroom!!!. we spend 4 days, and everything was great!!!! amazing location, good attention and very clean. we had a free transport from the airport!!!

The owner Puppy is a very nice lady, she offered free airport pickup and giving advice of the traveling tips in Santorini. We really appreciate it. 
The location of the hotel is 10 minuets walk from Fira. There is supermarket selling cheap fruits and daily products and some restaurants nearby the hotel. There is also a car rental company a few meters from the hotel. There is also a bus stops 200 meters away.
The room is very big with a kitchen and microwave oven. Every thing is just perfect.
