This is a very unique, very exclusive hotel with stunning views located at one of the nicest spots in Oia. The architect(s) deserve kudos for such a wonderful job of designing this. Having said that, it IS showing signs of aging and they may need to renovate at some point soon, especially the rooms. There were also a few issues with things not working as expected, like jacuzzi, locks, phone etc. I didn’t call them because it was a short stay and I didn’t want to spend time resolving issues. However, I am still giving this 5 stars mainly because of the stunning design and location of the property, and also top notch service. I don’t want to punish them for maintenance issues but do expect them to resolve and hopefully renovate the property at some point. Dinner was surprisingly good for such a small hotel. I went with low expectations but was very pleasantly surprised by almost a Michelin quality dinner with very good service. Breakfast was basic and to the point though. I would love to come back and stay longer.
