Vallais Villa is a great place to stay right at the caldera’s edge. The views are unbeatable: towards sunset, Thirasia island and Oia. The manager Loukas and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful and polite. They really do everything to make your stay as nice as possible. Our room (a two bedroom apartment with a jacuzzi) was very comfortable. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. There was always enough warm water in the showers. They deliver breakfast to the room on a ten minutes notice. It was very tasty and every day had something different. The walking path to Fira (and Oia) runs just 10 metres below the place so it’s very accessible on foot. Stairs are quite steep though. We enjoyed our stay at Vallais Villa tremendously and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone!
