A pleasant small hotel, the owner is always helpful, the room was freshly painted, the rooms are cleaned daily. From the hotel there is quick access to beaches, restaurants and bars. I will come back.

Pleasant as always

We just spent our summer vacation in Samos staying in Sama Hotel. The hotel's location was excellent, could not have found a better one. The hotel was exceptionally clean and compliant with all the measures necessary for the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff (which was very friendly and helpful) always wore masks and made us feel very safe! Although the hotel has a very family-run vibe, everyone was very professional and tried to help us in every way possible! Highly recommended, we will be staying here again in the future for sure! 

Wonderful place! 

This is a 12 room hotel just off the main street but very quiet. It's just down the road to the harbour, and just a few minutes further walk to one of the beaches.  The room had two single beds, tea and coffee, plenty of storage space and a small bathroom with a shower.  The upstairs rooms have a small balcony.  A buffet breakfast was provided which was excellent, choice of yogurt, fruit, cooked meat, cheese, bread, tomatoes, olives etc. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed.  The cleaner was very good and did a very thorough job each day. I'm so pleased I chose the Sama from all of the hotels on offer, and would definitely recommend it if looking for a small hotel in a convenient position

J am just in Sama

Very good service, clean room with spic and span beds.  Perfect location in the center of town.  Good breakfast.  All very good compared to the price.  Most importantly the lady owner is very kind and willing to help in any way she can.

We stay in the resort called Balos which is the beach aspect of Koumeika village. There is a traditional town square (actually a triangle) with a massive, centuries-old plane tree. The proprietor told us they had been open less than a year. The menu is traditional Greek food but beautifully done and with some originality. The building that houses Sama is an attractive one, probably 19th century. We ate in the square and were treated to amazing high-level fly-pasts by a tribe of swifts, a species that lives almost entirely on the wing.  
A memorable way to end a memorable meal.

Excellent new restaurant in Koumeika

Took my son for his birthday it was hit at the time, the only thing our hotel was a bit far out was able to walk to one of the beach different taste of Greek food delicious. Lot of English people there.

Sama is a clean small hotel with a very good location. The owner was very helpful. We couldn't find a rental car when we arrived to the island. The owner made calls for us and found one for that night. She answered all our questions. The breakfast is not very big but well presented and enough for every taste. There is a big free parking lot right at the back of the hotel so it was very convenient when you rent a car. A very nice beach is 10 min. walking distance, the center pf the town, restaurants, shops are 1 min. walk.

Restaurant ambiance fantastic! Staff fantastic! Menu and food overpriced and mediocre. Ordered for main course "Simi Burger @€25. What I got was 4 dry miniature mince burgers on a plate with no garnish or accompliment, no sauce etc... wine and beer also overpriced! Local beer 250 ml was €6!! Cheapest glass of wine €8 and was about 50ml! Sorry @Sama restaurant, you really need to rethink your concept and pricing! Good basics, but someone lost the run of themselves when it came to food offer and price!

Sama restaurant disappointment

Perfect cardinal situation, mediocre cleanness of the bathroom, floods the bathroom and nonexistent shower stall cleanness.... The available always annoyed proprietress
