2 people, mid 50's went at the beginning of October for a weeks break. Fantastic apartment on the seafront, we had a sea view room with 2 balconies overlooking the sea. Great view across the bay to the fort. The apartment was lovely, view of the sea from the bed. Bed was really comfortable. Lovely lounge area, great bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi bath. Dressing area with huge wardrobes. The only thing I would do to improve it would be to put a mirror near a plug socket, had to move the freestanding mirror so that I could dry my hair. We had our own tiny private beach with beds and an umbrella and a lovely little cove to swim in. The apartment is about 20 minutes walk or about 5 Euros in a taxi to the old town which was fantastic. There is a small beach with sun beds within 5 minutes walk, a nice little supermarket and a great grocers shop selling the freshest fruit, cheeses, olives etc, and a bakery selling fantastic sandwiches, cakes and pastries. The Cavo restaurant is underneath the apartment and has the best food I have tasted in years. They served us breakfast every day which we had on the patio in our room. Tasty omelet, yoghurt with nuts and honey, fresh pastries and coffee. The staff were all very professional, helpful, polite and friendly. Could not have asked for anything more. They even gave me a beautiful scarf as a present when we left. What a fantastic place, highly recommended.
