I am really annoyed at some of the negative comments written on here recently. Completely unnecessary and untrue. If you want posh and exotic, then pay posh and exotic prices. Theo's is a great small and friendly hotel - just like it is advertised. Yes, it is somewhat outdated in areas and could probably benefit from a face lift, but it has a charm all of its own. The welcome we received as first time guests was amazing. Our cases were taken from us to our room and we were told the relevant times of meals etc. As has been said many times, the shower area is small - but the shower was always hot and very powerful. The room was kept spotlessly clean by charming and friendly staff members. Towels and sheets were changed every other day and smelt fresh and clean. The pool is much larger than most hotel pools and you could really get a decent swim! Stunning views from the pool and the ever helpful Lisa for whom nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the restaurant most evenings as we found the food to be of good quality, well cooked, generous portions, no feeling of being rushed and genuine Corfiot food. The specials were always delicious. The staff team were always friendly and willing to talk about your day. Entertainment consisted of a Greek evening and a quiz evening once a week. Just right for us as we wanted a peaceful break. The views from the hotel are stunning and there are plenty of walking routes available from the hotel - maps can be borrowed too. A great 2 weeks in a beautiful country - no complaints from us! Thank you Theo and team.
