I stayed here with my friend in early Sep 19. Could not fault the room and the facilities. But was really makes the hotel is Manos. An exceptionally helpful and nice guy. Totally recommend staying here if you are looking to stay in stalis

I love this place, I came in September for 3 weeks, extended for 3 days longer because I wasn't ready to go home, then I had some time to kill as I was in between jobs and was welcomed back as a friend as well as a customer for 9 days in October.  I'm used to staying in basic rooms as I've stayed in various over the years holidaying in the Greek islands, I've always been happy with that given i hardly spend any time in my room, but you have everything you need for your stay. The rooms are clean, bedding and towels changed regularly, a pool outside my room and a nice communal bar to frequent of an evening where I met some awesome people. (Shout out to Manos) I was upgraded on my September stay to a lovely room with a spiral staircase, comfortable bed with good pillows (always a bonus) a very modern bathroom. A spacious, clean an comfortable apartment! Staff are awesome and will go out of their way to do anything for you. I Used to stay up the other end of Stalis for years in other hotels and thought it would be a lot further afield at the Anemi, it's not, its a central location with plenty of good restaurants, bars and amenities close by! they also have live music twice a week throughout the season. (Shout out to Pete Maggio) Clean rooms with all you need and a fab atmosphere that makes you feel at home, and not want to go home!! Thank you everyone at the Anemi for your kindness, you're all fab. I'll be back!!

Spent 2 weeks in the family duplex was a great room pool was fine for the amount of guests drinks reasonably priced there was a couple of acts on during the week 
Manos is a great guy who will do anything to help out

Well positioned accommodation to explore the lovely Stalis, Tavernas, mini marts and bars are all just along the road from anemi. Staff are lovely, Manos the barman is very hospitable and will give you really good advice on the area, and the best offers. Maria, who does the breakfast, is really kind and will go out of her way for you. 

The rooms are basic and perhaps do require some maintenance, especially in the bathroom. However, they do serve their purpose. We were meant to get the large mez room, but ended up with two separate rooms, which we did actually prefer in the end. Really good water pressure, but very hot water. Shower holder was not securely placed, so it was interesting to get the shower head to stay in one place!  

We paid extra for breakfast, even though there was a self catering option. Breakfast was very good. You can ask to order anything you want, otherwise a continental selection is served. Maria is very obliging and does a very good cooked breakfast!

Pool area was alright. When we arrived, pool was green, but it was soon seen to. New sunbeds wouldn't have gone amiss as the majority were broken and randomly collapsed when you laid on them! As others has said some umbrellas would be nice for some shade. There were lots of lilos and inflatables that you could play with which was a nice touch. 

The bar area at the front is good, it opens at 5 and serves an excellent Mythos and reasonably priced. 

Overall, Anemi is basic, friendly accommodation in a good area. It is traditionally Greek, unlike some of the other bigger hotels in the area.

The apartments are clean, the location is very good & I’d recommend this place to anyone contemplating a trip to Stalida. Not 5*, but then it’s not a 5* price tag. I would definitely return.  Said enough really but trip advisor insist I have to add more! Air con is essential in August as the apartment was stifling at night . That’s 6€ a day. No problem with a late checkout. We paid 20€ & had use of the apartment & facilities until we left for the airport at 7pm. Hopefully that’s now enough 😀😀

Stayed here for 2 weeks. 

The good points.
The rooms are a nice size, plent of hot water, towels changed when needed.
Manons will go out of his way to make you feel at home and ensure you have a good stay.
The hotel is in a good location and has some lovely views if in the right room. 

PARENTS be aware .
The water is very very hot. I burnt my stomach on the tap.
The stairs outside are marble both me and my daughter fell down them.( they were not wet just slippy).

Dont expect any hairdryers or irons they have all been stolen. 

We didnt pay for a 5 star hotel ane didnt ecpect one. 

Would we stay again. YES we would.

stayed here in june,small friendly apartments,very basic but clean and clean towels every other day. Manos the barman is friendly and helpful. Love the continental breakfast every morning.Enjoyed my stay  that much i have booked to go back in sept.

I with my wife didn't expect something superior when we booked the apartment there but were really surprised upon arrival: we were given with a nice light room which was quite small but acceptable. The room is very-very basic with limited amount of cooking battery but has almost all necessary things.

Advantages:
- location with nice beaches near;
- price for the accommodation;

Disadvantages:
- very poor level of service quality:
1) almost the whole day it is impossible to find any of the hotel's staff so it is quite complicated to find the required information or to ask to clean the room/change towels
2) we had a late departure and two days prior that day we had prolonged our stay till the evening (extra 20 euros) which was confirmed by the owner. At the departure day we were really surprised when under the door we found a letter (thankfully with 20 euros inside) with the rejection of the prolongation. No apologies were given regarding this issue by the owner.

Nice very basic apartments

After reading some  reviews i was very concerned about our stay here at Anemi apartments because although we knew we had booked a 3 star basic holiday i was worried about what we would find. Firstly it is basic but our room was spotlessly clean if dated. It had a fridge, kettle and a table top cooker with 2 rings , aircon which is a extra charge but no television. Some rooms have had a re-furb ours hadnt but we had a decent size room with a balcony over looking the pool and one at the back over looking mountains (ok it did have a car park in between but not a issue ) The bedding and towels were changed regularly. The pool is small and was cleaned regularly, .Manos who looked after the running of the hotel as well as attending the bar was a really friendly man who went out of his way to help as much as you needed ,we often went for a drink before going down the strip at night just to have a chat with him . The Dog and Crown pub which is still shown on both Tui and trip advisor is no longer there and asnt been for 6 years its now just a small bar with tables and chairs outside but nice to have a quiet drink. we found the location great as it is right on the main strip so turn left from hotel straight into pubs , restaurants and shops and right takes you a 25 minute walk into Malia past more restaurants, shops. The beach was pretty much across the road where sun loungers are 8 euros for 2 but walk furthur down the beach and they become free if you buy a drink from the restaurant which is what we did. We had a great holiday here and if you dont mind basic this could be for you, if you like luxury and top notch then try somewhere else, We paid £1200 for two people and felt this was value for time of year we stayed (early July ) much more and properly not such a good deal.  The travel company are who get the bulk of the cost of the holiday only a small amount goes to the hotel you choose to stay in so could be worth trying to cut out the middle man and book direct with the hotel ? We will return to stalis and would stay here again .

So just back from a weeks stay at the Anemi Apartments and where do I start!?

When we arrived we initially got given room 108, upon entering we found a puddle of water in the middle of the room, we asked to be moved and was to 109 next door. The rooms are very, very basic, ours was apparently a studio room that slept 3 people with a double and one single bed, the rooms are that tiny we only just managed with the 2 of us. I have attached some pictures of our room and as you will see they are in dire need of a makeover, I personally feel ripped off for what we paid for it and what we received. 

The pool area was nice and there was always plenty of Sunbed’s, we didn’t eat at the apartments so can’t comment on the food, we was never told anything about the breakfast and there was no signs stated the timings or what you could have. 

The bar wasn’t manned during the day and if you wanted a drink you have to go to the shop next door and get the lady that works in there to serve you, far from ideal! The 1 maid that works in the apartments is there from dawn until dusk, they seriously need to invest in another cleaner as she is clearly trying to do everything and it’s not working as our apartment wasn’t cleaned properly once, the sink in the bathroom was never cleaned and we had clean towels once throughout the week, in our opinion she spent a lot of her time cleaning the rooms of the Eastern European guests. 

The apartments are situated in an ideal location especially if you take a stroll in to Malia which was just a 20 minute walk. As mentioned before these are in dire need of a makeover, I for one would not stay here again.
