Had a perfect three weeks in Stalis, everyone is so friendly. We stayed at Knossos studios again with the lovely Elena, very friendly place to stay and meet other guests for a drink at the bar. Knossos is in a lovely location up a side street but only a short walk from Beach Road. The apartments are very clean, with fresh bedding and towels every three days. If you have any concerns just speak to Elena and she will do her best to put thing right.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Stalis.We stayed in the Knossos studios which are situated in a brilliant position for the delights of Stalis.Your host is the amazing Elena who will go out of her way to ensure everybody as a great time. You will find the studios have all that you require fridge,2 ring hot plate,bedding and towels changed daily,kettle and hair dryer.You cannot fail to be impressed by the people who you will meet while there on holiday you arrive as a stranger but leave as a friend and part of the Knossos family i would  urge you to try it as you will not be disappointed.

We have just spent 5 weeks in these apts  this is the 3 time we have been with Elena and it does not disappoint. The rooms are Greek clean and tidy what more do you want you also gain a host that is larger than life who would do anything to help you. Thats why people keep coming back.

This was mine and russell first ever visit to Knossos and stalis . The studio's are well equipped with everything you need and are kept very clean . They are central to all bars and restaurants and only 5 mins or less to the beach . Elena is the perfect host nothing is too much trouble we enjoyed it so much that russell can't wait to go back  so we will definitely be seeing you again Elena and thank you for making us feel welcome

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It has cutlery, glasses, fridge, kettle etc. We stayed on the 1st floor and there was table and chairs outside for us to sit and relax.
The apartments have ceiling fans which we found adequate.
There is maid service every day, and clean towels and bedding a couple of times the week we stayed.
The pool and the bar are clean and well looked after.
Sun loungers are there for you to relax on and there was enough for us plus other guests.
Elena is fantastic. She is very kind outgoing person and makes you feel welcome and at home. I believe this is why people go back year after year.
We stayed here last year and came back again this year.
Even with the pandemic Elena was in good spirits as it has affected everyone in Stalis

my partner and I have not long returned home from knossos studio's, we stay here every year because Elena our host is so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The studio's are always spotlessly clean with daily maid service. There is a ceiling fan to cool you down in the warm evenings.It's only a short walk away from the beach, bars and restaurants and a well equipped supermarket next door. There's a lovely bar where you can chat with Elena, she will include everybody in conversation, we have made so many friends this way which is why we've returned here for 6 years and will return again and again xx

After all the difficulties of the summer,the Knossos ensured us of another great holiday. we had everything a storm,very srong winds and an earthquake,plus 25 days of sunshine.But the best ray of light once again is the host Elena,who never fails to light up  your holiday she ensures all the customers are given a warm welcome and if needed all the help with their questions to make everyones holiday the best it can be. As for the studios they are well situated within easy reach for everything Stalis as to offer,cleaned at leasted 6 times a week with all you need in the rooms for a self catering point of view,as is usual we will be returning to meet with old friends and new next year.

These studios are typical Greek, we stayed there for a month and could find n fault whats so ever. Despite the problems with Covid-19 Elena is a bigger than life character, big heart, big smile nothing is too much problem for her. If you need help just ask. The studios are very central to all that Stalis has to offer, beach, bars and restaurants What more could you ask for?  Like most people, that were there, we have booked for next year. Does that not say it all?

We returned only 2 days ago from our beloved Knossos Studios. Once again this year Elena has given us the holiday we needed. She is the perfect host, will offer all help & support needed by guests.
Our studio was extremely clean, twin beds with dressing table & wardrobe. A ceiling fan ideal for warm evenings. Daily Maid servicing us clean towels & bedding. There is a small kitchen area with utensils provided, and en suite. Every studio has a balcony area to enjoy also.
There is a lovely pool if u prefer a day away from the beach, plus a pool bar where Elena will look after you. We have met so many people there early evening - it is the perfect start to a night out! 
Studios are situated 5 mins from a beautiful beach & so many restaurants & tavernas with delicious Greek food! You could never cover them all in 2 weeks!!  Elena can give u all the local knowledge you need ... just ask her ... & she will advise you!! 
We recommend .. try & go... never know we may meet there one year?
This was our 8th year to revisit & believe me when I say when we first visited Stalis & Knossos Studios that was never planned our plans were never to revisit but when you enjoy something so much you go back!! 
Yes we are booked for next year ... 2021! 



Just returned from yet another great stay with our wonderful host Elena. I was taken ill with appendix problems and Elena took me to the medical centre in Malia where I was assessed and transferred to the main hospital in Heraklion. She then returned to the apartment to pick up my daughter and brought her to the hospital and acted as my interpreter with the doctors and then drove us all back. This is typical of the way Elena treats her guests, nothing is too much trouble. You can read my previous reviews and will see that every one is positive. Try these studios and I am sure that you will enjoy your holiday. Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else, we come back year on year
