We spent a month at Ville du Soliel in May. It was a great base to explore the stunning area. The villa itself was beautiful and had a fully equipped kitchen, and a gorgeous upstairs balcony with a hammock and table and chairs. The view is out to the sea! On cooler nights, we even had a fire in the stone fireplace. Kostas was a great host and has the most delicious olive oil, so definitely ask him about that:) The area is really special as it is a great base to explore the beaches and coves that are mostly empty and the water - it is gin clear and the most lovely shades of blue. The highlight though for us was the hiking nearby. We did about 6 hikes all within an hour (and three of those are within 15 minutes) from the villa. The town of Pefki is a must visit. You can hike to the town, have lunch at the lovely taverna and hike back to the trailhead. Very special.
