Just got back from Canadian Hotel in Zakynthos would highly recommend this hotel all the staff were excellent throughout the hotel, the breakfast was excellent and all the other food that was served in the Savvy bar, will definitely go back there, i just like to thank them all again for making it such a lovely holiday

Very nice clean hotel bar staff and cleaners very polite when dealing with customers and guests very pleased to have stayed at the Canadian will do so in the future . Will definitely stay again when in laganas. 

Just back from a week at the Canadian we had a brilliant break.  Accommodation was very good, cleaned daily surroundings cleaned daily.  Bar and snack bar excellent value and always lively.  I would highly recommend this hotel it is very well placed for good restaurants the Avanti is just round corner brilliant food excellent value, well worth a visit or two.  We also hired a quad from 2 to 4 wheels, best we have ever hired.  Zante is a great place to explore on quads, great fun.  Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, very nice food at a reasonable price too! Can’t complain with anything really it was overall very nice. Had no problems when we stayed there for a week, would highly recommend and would return if I went to laganas again.

Having just returned from The Canadian Hotel ..we can't express how good the whole package was .. from front Reception Service ,
Bar Service , Cleaning Service throughout our two week stay.
The " Customer Service Staff " 
was always approachable and welcoming to any questions or concerns and made us feel comfortable and settled in during our stay.
I must say that we are in our 60's and although the Canadian cater for a majority of younger party goers dont let this put you off .. they have in system in control over rowdy or noisy individuals with an instant call from your room down to the foyer with a  security guard at hand 24/7 but pleased to say that this service was NOT required during our stay .
The biggest mention goes to the Front Breakfast Bar ...the politeness and service we met throughout the two weeks was outstanding. All bar staff and table waiter's were absolutely brilliant.
The food was of top quality and looked exactly like the photo's on their menu ( which was a eye opener to be fair .. dont normaly get what it shows on a photo ) 
Food and drinks were real value for money and table service was exceptional. 

The rooms were cleaned every day and with a complete change of sheets pillow cases and towels.. credit to the cleaning staff with so many rooms , corridors and outside areas to deal with ..they are doing a fantastic job.
We are already planning on re-booking this hotel for next years main holiday ..and we can't wait.

Me and 11 of my friends stayed here for 7 nights in July and we were all pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy the hotel was. The rooms were cleaned everyday! The food was lovely and very cheap with lots of options so anybody could eat here. The bar staff were incredible and very friendly, definitely made the holiday! Recommend getting the cocktails from the bar as a they’re €4 and taste incredible. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk away from the main strip and 2 mins from Kalamaki road with bars and shops. As well as the hotel being next door to a supermarket which was very handy when being self catering. Overall I would definitely stay here again and this hotel is perfect if you aren’t looking for a chill holiday!

just come home from staying in zante for a week with girls, was safe to say it was the best week of our lives. The hotel was perfect from the strip which it was about a 15 mins walk, the bar staff were amazing especially chris who always looked after you and made your time there 100x better (we miss u x), hotel room was clean, looked after by the cleaners and given fresh towels everyday, Sean one of the reps was a big LEGEND, shoutout to you for saving us:) Everyone there is really friendly and you’ll get along with everyone, thankyou so much for making our time there one to remember and we’ll all definitely be back!

Have just returned from 10 days at this lovely little hotel,great location, 2 minutes from kalamaki Rd which has loads of good bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to the strip if clubbing is your thing. Rooms lovely and clean and food amazing but the real selling point of this hotel is the wonderful bar staff,day or night service is fabulous, Alex,George,Tony and Chris are fantastic, the younger clientelle are friendly and pretty well behaved for teenagers lol,overall a great holiday, will definitely return !!

Great Holiday

Great hotel in a central location rooms were comfy and clean close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly  also a big shout out to George and the staff at the Savvy bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. Only downside you will have to pay for WiFi In the rooms but free in nearby bars and restaurants.
All in all would definitely return.

Great recommend Hotel

Had an amazing holiday in Zante whilst staying at the Canadian Hotel.

Hotel was clean, staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Food at the hotel bar was very tasty and at a good price when comparing to similar establishments nearby. It is also well positioned for the beach, main strip or a quick 15 min walk to the next town of Kalamaki.

We did experience a leak from one of the rooms upstairs, however this was resolved quickly and we were moved without fuss into another room nearby.

My only real negative was the noise. The walls are paper thin both internally and externally and with Laganas being a party destination this does not bode well if you are after an early night prior to a full day of events starting the next morning. The hotel is sandwiched  between the main road between Laganas and Kalamaki and another which runs to the front of the hotel. Quad bikes seem to go past regularly between the hours of 8am to 3am. Also because of the thin walls cleaning staff can be heard regularly throughout the morning, not ideal after a night of over exuberance.

My final point resolves around a €15 charge for WiFi which we were told was per person. Because of this it worked out cheaper to pay my current phone provider £2 per day to use my own data contract and tether other phones, free WiFi is available throughout Laganas at most Bars. In this day and age Free WiFi is a given I would have thought.

Overall, and despite the two issues raised above I would happily stay at the hotel again, although I can imagine in peak season the noise being off the chart.

Perfect for girls holiday

Lovely hotel,amazing staff.

We were a group of girls for a girls holiday and had a fab time. This hotel was great for us. It was clean, good location and we did half board and the food was good and there was a large menu to choose from. The fact you could choose when you wanted to eat your two meals a day was so so good because we could eat around the events we booked. Had to pay extra for air con and wifi which was a bit annoying but needed to be done as it was so hot. Overall vibe was good, defo not a hotel for a chill holiday as there’s blaring music playing at the pool all day but we were there for a party so it was fine. We all said we would stay there again if we came back to Zante as it was a good location and the flexibility with the food was good. One of the girls thought the bed was uncomfy but the rest of us thought it was fine.

Loved it !!

My friend and I visited Zante but were staying at a different hotel 5 minutes down the road. We weren’t keen on the food and set eyes on this lovely hotel, where the restaurant and bar are open to the public which is superb. The staff were always polite and friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and the seating outside is perfect with background summer music which makes the holiday that little bit better. Thank you for your service, the food was excellent and very cheap. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🤍
