*Alsos*It was a last minute decision to visit Meteora after our trip to Santorini got cancelled due to earthquakes.We read about this place which provided us with a beautiful view of the rocks and the monasteries and decided to book it. It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay right in front of the rocks and the owners were quite helpful. The room is comfortable and quiet. It is steps away from the footpath which leads directly to the monastery of “Holy Trinity”. Note that it is about a 45 minute hike with a steep elevation gain. Your other option is to drive right up to the foot of the monastery. The breakfast was also good with a spread of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, fresh juice, and a variety of bakery products and cereals. If you are pressed for time like us, this is a great option instead of eating in the city which will add another 30 minutes.Overall, a wonderful experience.
