The hotel was fantastic. Started with a pick up from the port by the owner who was really friendly. Great location only 5mins walk to the beach (down a slight hill). The views are amazing we stayed a sea view and it was amazing. It's also located 10-15min to the main town along the main road so you have great access to the nightlife or to buses to get around the island. 

The owner was extremely helpful and gave us advice and directions for everything that we wanted to do while staying on Ios. And finally a free transfer back to the port for the next part of our travel. Would highly recommend. 

We turned up in Ios despite seeing there was absolutely no accommodation on the island. Through one place calling another we found the Acropolis hotel. Great find!! The owner was such a great guy and so helpful. Gave us a great deal for 4 people in one room (happily threw in an extra bed in the room so we could fit). The room was air conditioned, had a good shower and even had a fridge. Our balcony even came with a view. The hotel also had a bar area which was great. The hotel itself is a short way from the town centre. €1.80 bus ride, €5 euro taxi or you can walk which would take like 20-25 min. 2 mins away from the beach and restaurants which was great, I thought it was the best location.

The owner picked us up in the port and brought us to the Hotel, also gave us good tips about the island and some good restaurant recommendations. All the staff was very friendly and attentive.
We stayed in the 4 people room, which was really quiet and clean, although it didn't reach in-room wifi and the bathroom was a bit small. However, considering it the price, the room was above our expectations.
Another great thing of the hotel is its location, which is only 5 minutes from Mylopotas beach (probably the best beach in the island) and 10-15 walk to the main city centre.
I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a budget hotel.

We had a great stay at Acropolis Hotel! Nikkos (the owner i think) was great!! He Organised to pick us up from the port, told us a little about the town on our way to the hotel!! Our room was clean (serviced daily), cool (A/C) and had the most amazing view of Mylopotas beach with a small balcony. Only a short walk to the beach (was quite steep but no problems for us)! The staff were constantly around and always happy to chat or give us a helping hand with anything we needed! Nikkos and everyone working there are locals, and they have a wealth of knowledge about the island!

Great location, friendly staff, and an overall good bargain. The hotel has a great location, with quick access to Mylopotas beach and a short walk to the town. The service offered far exceeds the price you pay; for its low price we got freshly cleaned towels every day, cleaned floors, air condition, and a quiet environment at night.
