Lemon Grove Hotel and Studios

We arrived very late on a Friday night and were promptly shown to our room. The room was clean and tidy however we were not provided with air-conditioning on the first night due to our late arrival. The following morning we officially checked in and paid for air-conditioning for the week for €40. We had no issues with the air-conditioning or hotel room throughout our stay & the room was cleaned regularly. The pool area is usually quiet and relaxing and right on the beach. I'd recommend getting snorkeling equipment as there are lots of fish, even in the shallow part of the sea. The hotel staff were all very friendly and had smiles on their faces. They were also happy to help with advice. On our 2nd day, my wisdom tooth became infected and I needed antibiotics due to the serious swelling in my face. Owner, Alex, was more than happy to help and advise me and rather than me attending a private Dr and using my insurance, he called local GP practices for advice and then drove me to the local health centre were I was seen by a Dr for free. He then drove me to a pharmacy to collect my medication which cost €13 for 4 items. The hotel location is perfect as it is at the beginning of the main strip of bars and restaurants, and you can not hear the strip from the hotel which was amazing since we are not party animals. This hotel is basic, but we had no issues at all and really enjoyed our stay. We would happily return to this hotel in the future.
