Castello Di Rodi

My parter and I had two week stay at Castelli di Rodi in October. We were a little dubious having read some rather negative reviews but we need not have been. The staff and manager Lena couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. We were not to happy with our first room as it faced the road and was a bit noisy due to traffic, no problem they moved us to a lovely room within a couple of days. We were staying on a half board basis and our travel agent had neglected to let the hotel know I am vegan. However Evi manager of the restaurant was most helpful, I supplied my own items which she happily cooked for me. The hotel its self is charming and has a lovely homely atmosphere. The bar area is beautiful with well cared for trees and plants and lovely seating areas done on a medieval theme. The hotel is very clean and rooms are cleaned daily by a lovely group of ladies. The reception staff Liya and Stavirous along with their manager Lea are knowledgable about the area, friendly, polite and so helpful. I honestly cannot fault Castello di Rodi in any way and have no hesitation in recommending it as a wonderful place to stay. It also has a great swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. Getting into Rhodes town is very easy with the bus stop being just a few minutes walk away.
