Love our holidays at Mayflower. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Lovely friendly family who are always on hand to answer queries, provide freshly cooked meals made with local ingredients and ensure you have a comfortable stay. Apartments kept clean and linen changed regularly. 

After 13years since my last visit to Kefalos,decided it was time for a return visit. First time staying at The Mayflower and it didn't dissapoint. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. Rooms are basic,beds are very comfortable and the location is great. Food here is lovely,freshly cooked by the amazing Dimitris,the chicken club sandwich is huge,enough for 2 people. Pool area is great,no sunbed wars. Had such a wonderful week here,we've booked again for next year.

This is the first time we have stayed at Mayflower/ Peros studios and we had a wonderful time here. It was made all the better by the excellent staff, Demetri, Antonis and George at the onsite taverna plus the hard working cleaner of our studio. As I started with the taverna, I will continue. The food here is plentiful and cooked fresh to order. All of it is tasty , try the Green salad with bacon and the special side dressing which is healthy and wholesome. The ice creams are huge and well worth the price, the drinks are reasonable so could find no fault with this excellent taverna. We were welcomed on arrival by George who is also very good with maintenance of the area and any plumbing needed. He sorted out a minor leak in our room  ( Rm 8 ), came down especially from the village to ensure it was dealt with immediately, cannot fault the service here. The rooms have all you need for a self catering holiday. We didn't cook anything though as wanted to try the delicious Greek food at local tavernas. We have stayed in Kefalos many, many times in other accommodations but Mayflower is one we hope to return to. The beds are very comfortable and we appreciated the additional pillows. We did not need the aircon as the temperatures were warm in the day, cooler in the evenings. We were visited regularly by Phil, the Jet2 rep and it was good to have a chat with someone who lives there and knows the area well. Myself and my wife stayed here for a week from the 2nd September. After a delay we arrived around 1am. We were greeted by George who was friendly. We were shown to our room. The rooms are basic but clean. After eventually bedding down around 2am we were greeted by the Kefalos Cockerel who was clucking all night long which we were not aware of lol. After a couple of days we got used to it. Dimtris and his family made us feel welcome..The pool area is clean and tidy. The food is nice which you get plenty of and was cheap. The club sandwich is enough to feed two. Overall was impressed and both myself and my wife had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone. 


As regular visitors to Mayflower we expected to be made very welcome and treated to superb service. As ever we were not disappointed. Our room was spotlessly clean as is the whole complex. Dimitri and his family go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a great holiday. 
The pool is perfect and the beds comfortable with good shade throughout the day. 
A small range of meals is available but the quality is excellent. 
Many repeat customers demonstrates the good value provided and the mix of guests from pensioners to families with young children creates a lovely atmosphere around the pool. 
A great example of how a good room only Greek holiday establishment should be run. 

Great family run accommodation in lovely gardens ,great snack- pool bar with very good food and drinks at reasonable prices, great pool , good location  , 5 or 6 minutes walk from the sea front . All round a wonderful holiday. We will be back.

Really friendly and welcoming little complex with the loveliest owners who couldn’t do enough for their guests. 
In quiet part of resort but only a 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants and the beach.  
Pool was never busy and atmosphere was very relaxing.

Pool bar was very well priced and portions huge. Most days we shared a club sandwich for lunch and still struggled to finish so really good value.

We didn’t pay for aircon as this time of year it wasn’t roasting hot and we had a nice breeze which kept room cool and airy.

We witnessed an incident where a holidaymaker was told politely not to consume his own food around the pool and he became rude hostile and aggressive towards the owners daughter causing her brother to step in to defend her. Complete overreaction by the holidaymaker to a polite request and even after this unnecessary drama he still continued to consume his own food and drink. You always get one. 

Yes rooms are basic but perfectly adequate. And really who comes on holiday to cook dinner? 

I would definitely return and recommend. 

An all round brilliant holiday

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Mayflower. The rooms are clean, spacious and have everything you need, the room was cleaned every other day where you got fresh sheets and clean towels. All the staff are so friendly its family run  and they are friendly and polite.  The pool area is nice and spacious with plenty of sunbeds and there is a bar that serves drinks and food which are all reasonably priced and freshy cooked. There is a supermarket next door to get all your essential items from but there is also a bigger supermarket down on the sea front which is about 5 minutes walk away where you will also find lots of bars and restaurants. This is our 7th visit to Kefalos but 1st time staying at the Mayflower and it will not be our last as the accommodation is such good value for the money you pay. If you want 5 star pay for it and don't expect to get it when you book and pay to stay in a 2 star hotel.

Had 3 week here in August and very impressed. We have booked to go back next year. Great location, nice pool and bar are serves exceptional food. Dimitrius is a skilled chef and exceeds expectation from a pool bar. Rooms clean and tidy with distant sea view. Beds single very comfy and located central for all the attractions of Kefalos. Would recommend a stay. staff are friendly and a good vibe all round. Wifi works closer to bar but not in all rooms. 

Great location with beautiful fruit trees and vegetable gardens. Room are spotless and very comfortable. Food is really good and everyone is welcoming. Plenty of sunbeds and great swimming pool. Couldn't fault anything.
