The very (!) friendly staff is always around to get you what you need. Feels like family. This is the experience we are looking for. Clean rooms, great beds and good pillows. Anything missing? No problem. There will arrange it for you. 

The view is amazing! Simple breakfast but all you need to start off your day. 

The pool bar serves the best cocktails and fresh coffees. It is a pleasure to walk (12 minute walk!) to Karpathos town for great (local) food overlooking the harbour (try at least Maxims, Acropolis, Grande Rooftop and Mesogios).

This great hotel is located at the perfect location! Directly at the beach and walking distance to the town. Great view! 

Very nice atmosphere at the hotel, but also in the rooms. This hotel is managed by a lovely family, who will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 

Supermarket and nice restaurants around the corner! And there is enough parking space.

I really recommend this hotel for a perfect stay at Karpathos!! 

Afoti Beach Hotel is a wonderful place to stay while in Karpathos island. Fully renovated and not too far from the city centre, you can enjoy every minute there, starting from breakfast time till late in the evening by the pool. The owners and the stuff are very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Quiet hotel, walking distance from the city center, friendly stuff, clean rooms, wonderful beach! We had a perfect stay! If you visit Karpathos, why go to a fancy 5* hotel? Prefer this family business, where you get an original local experience and hospitality! The owners (Giannis, Fotis and their wonderful mother) will also assist you personally with whatever you need during your stay! We will definitely visit them again!

Everything was perfect! I stayed in the hotel with my fiancé and it was exactly what we needed to relax. Clean rooms , a great pool area and friendly personnel, what more can someone ask for? The breakfast was really good, precisely what you needed to start your day, and you could always find a delicious dish at the pool bar, wether you were after traditional food or not.

Modern, minimal , cosy recently  renovated and very hospitable owners. Wonderful clean rooms  with a magnificent seaview.From the balcony you can hear the waves and you see the endless blue of the Greek sea.

I spent one week in Afotis hotel and can only strongly recommend it. 
The renovation of this hotel has been a great success. Amazing location on the beachfront, great atmosphere with music next to the pool, very clean rooms with a breathtaking view, very comfortable beds.... it has anything someone is looking for to spend quality holidays. The hotel is owned and managed by a local Greek family. They made us feel like home from day 1 by their warm welcome and took great care of us during our stay. Very nice location and the only hotel near the sea quiet place, breakfast good, rooms typical traditional the owners fotis and Gianni they service the best, the rooms very clean like paradise, our best holidays. Thank you Afoti beach for everything see you soon.

Holidays 

Our stay at Afoti Beach hotel was perfect. Friendly staff, nice renovated rooms. Because we were the first occupants of one of the rooms (109 and 110), unfortunately, not everything was in order. Yannis the owner went out of his way to eliminate these minor imperfections. Karpathos has a small population and therefore almost everyone knows each other and that was also noticeable by the fact that in the afternoon family, friends and acquaintances came to Afoti for a drink and a refreshing dip. Something that we as Greece connoisseurs (since 1990 and Greek family) experienced as very pleasant and we therefore felt a bit like Greek!

The hotel is located at walking distance from the center of Pigadia. Being right in front of the sea, the hotel is in a quiet and relaxing spot. The white and blue building in a typical greek style makes it a nice place to see. Every room is a one room house with very old forniture. The services offered by the hotel are poor and totally unsatisfactory. Breakfast is totally miserable. Breakfast was so poor that during our stay most of the guests bought their own food at markets in order to get something good to eat. Rooms are not cleaned on sundays. In case you get back right after most of the guests have taken their shower, the water reservoir present in the hotel is not big enough to guarantee the presence of the water in your room; in that case you have to wait for something like half an hour before water gets back to your room. We had the feeling that they were saving at guest's expense.
