The location is superb, excellent sea view, and wonderful, hospitable, caring, generous people. We prepared most of our food, and the landlord organised bread for each morning. The studious were spacious and clean, towels clean every day, you can cook your food in the kitchen, two burners but no oven. There is a fridge and dishes... in a word, very sufficiently enough Amoopi is a tourist resort, nothing special regarding the local villages, but exceptional service and restaurants and a wonderful sandy beach. We rented a car at Avra and it was a good idea to be mobile all the time. We covered more than 500km. Went to most of the beaches and almost every village. A visit to Olympia is a memorable event. Other memorable places: Achta, Agios Nicolaos (beaches), Karpathos (capital, they also call it Pagia). Karpathos is a discovery!
